I'd be happy with the boys to play decently and with confidence, regardless of the result.

Yeah, just not another Melbourne City type performance please.

A point would be a more than respectable result and perhaps the best we could hope for. Maybe the fact that teams near the top are expected to finish us off easily will weigh down on Adelaide a bit, I mean our A League season is effectively over so no pressure there. All I want now is a good ACL run and to *** up ESFC season as much as we can.

I had a dream/premonition two nights ago that we were up 4-0 in this game and NTS played in midfield.

We got dis :good:

Really really really really wish I was able to do a proper road trip (and I mean via Hay Plain) with some of you reprobates...not only the chance to see the boys in SA but to have there or bring back all the good things...Mettwurst, Jacobs Fritz, Kitchener Buns, Southwark Green Death, Yo Yo biscuits, Woodies lemonade, real pasties and pie floaters.

And spoil yourselves on pints of Coopers Pale and Franklin Harbour or Coffin Bay oysters those fortunate enough to go

I just played the match on manager mode

We won 1-0.

Of course this is in the alternate reality that is my manager mode, where for instance, I sold D Bouzanis to Perth and promoted from the youth academy a certain 18 year old, 73 rated, M Bouzanis to be the main goalkeeper after Covic retired at 42, etc.

Speaking of mathematics - can we still mathematically make the Top 6???

Very much so. IF we were to win the two re-scheduled matches against Roar and City we will be "only" six points behind City, and "only" seven behind the Roar. We play both of them once more, and if we win those as well then we COULD be within striking distance.

I am not going to put any money on this to happen though. Our schedule next month is not going to help.

I'm not watching if it Adelaide United v Adelaide United Mack

Yep, if we're going to insert another SA team into this contest on our behalf, I'd go with Adelaide City

BTW its expected to be 40 degrees in Adelaide on Saturday, so I expect Popa to rest some of our trump cards that shall be travelling OS during the week

Well, it won't be 40 at 7:30pm, and sunset is at 8:05pm. Penrith will have been worse.

it wouldn't surprise me if we win this lol.

everyone will have written us off for this game with Adelaide just having to show up to get 3 points. this is the type of game where the underdog pulls a result from nowhere.

We're probably going to win, because I'm not heading to this Adelaide Away match.

Stupid $400 (for One Way!! $800 Return) plane tix. :nono:

Start driving now and you'll make it in time ;)

If you've been quoted $800 return, then I have a two for the price of one option for you. Fly down with Qantas tomorrow pm for $199, fly back with Jetstar at 10:05 on Sunday for $199.

Just find an early morning tiger flight, take it to Jetstar and get 10% off. I've never payed more than $200 return for any of our away games and I've been to quite a few.

I got mine for $160 or so - but this was booked last year (read: ages ago)

Is anyone else going to this one or will myself and a few others travelling with me be the only WSW fans in the stadium?  :shout:
