Sunday 7 September: Al Jazira FC v WSW FC Sport Division Stadium, Armed Forces Officers Club Abu Dhabi – 7.30pm (1.30am AET)

No, I shall not be live tweeting score updates tonight.

I'll be looking at the back of my eyelids or at the very least, counting sheep by then. :lazy:

We won !

2-1

We scored more than 1 goal for a change.

Any word on the scorers and starters? I went to the Al-Jazira FC website and there's nothing more than a couple of pics of them with the trophy.

Beating them in their home conditions would have been a pretty tough assignment, and maybe a good pointer for the ACL - they were a Round of 16 team.

Is that the ground where we are going to play the ACL final, and celebrate winning the comp as a first time participant?

2-1 win! And a nice goal from Kubi! Hope that gives him some confidence.

So are they heading home now?

**** one of those stands behind the goal is probably equal to the capacity of Parra Stadium!

Kubi will be a gun this season if he is given game time.

Kubi will get game time if he continues to progress and improve on the areas of his game that do need improvement and show more in the way of consistency.

A goal in a pre season tournament certainly won't do him any harm..... lets hope he kicks on from here.

Sounds like we were creative. Wonder if Castelen had any time?

Thanks Flytox - starting line-up looks like it was done with an eye to the ACL. Still good to see Castelen get on :)
