This will be one hell of a game to kick off the weekend. After what I saw saturday night, nothing is impossible! Let's make this ours!

how many wanderers fans are making the trip?

20 odd atm. Hoping a few more last minute bookings are made.

Adelaide were very good last week. A draw away from home would be great.

Yeah, Adelaide are very hot and cold though. But they are traditionally pretty strong at home. A draw will be a good result but I really hope we find our scoring feet.

Newcastle were poor though, so its hard to judge. I just hope our boys keep the intensity they showed on Saturday night all season.

just sucks that its on a friday at 7:30. not enough time to finish work, drive to the airport, hop on the plane ride, arrive in adelaide, and make the way to the staduim,

this was definetly one away trip i wanted to make

Its actually 7pm Adelaide time. I've even seen locals say its going to be tight to make it on time.

changes to the starting side ?

Ono for Bridge is the obvious......will Popa make any others ?

Hersi appeared to be carrying an injury afetr he came off. He was coming in too much thus providing CCM with space to play around him in the first half.

Hersi out, Tahj comes in to play right side of midfield.

Or Haliti to right mid, bridge to left mid and ONO starts the game playing centrally in No.10 role.

Yeh, id be dropping D'Apuzzo for Cole or Elrich. D'Apuzzo was ok in defence but turned over so much ball, he gave Bridge a run for his money.

Id bring Ono in behind Kresinger, and drop Bridge to the bench. Not just because of a poor game, but Kresinger or Ono will need a break at some point.

--------------Covic--------------

Polenz--Beach--NTS--Cole

--------Mooy----Poljak--------

--Hersi-----Ono-----Haliti-----

-----------Kresinger-----------

Bench:

Minnecion/Kubi

Bridge

Elrich

Tyson

Pretty much exactly what I'd be looking at. The only question marks would be Elrich in for Cole and to a lesser extent Kubi for Haliti (make that sub in the 60th minute anyway)

Kubi at this stage of his career and our team is probably best suited to come on as an impact player to run at a tiring defence. So far he has been effective in this role in preseason.

(I think this is what you were saying anyway MattyB)

This is exactly what I would suggest.

FACT - One of the combatants on Friday night shall sit top of the ladder at the completion of the match.

Go you Wanderers!!!

Surprised Adelaide won last weekend, with all the travelling they did last week and still put in a fantastic performance they *should* be even better against us.. but in all good faith we should come home with a draw or a surprise win.

But Newcastle were shocking!! And Adelaide made a heap of changes from the ACL game. I reckon they'd be more tired on Fri than they were last Sunday!! Here's hoping!! 😀

Looking forward to this game, we have a fair bit of pace in our team. Looking forward to Mooy putting some more of those classy thru balls behind the reds defence. Letting the quicks keep turning them around.

Boy's and girl's. I need a good Adelaide sledge to put on a banner. Any idea's?

Dude don't do it, its bad enough they have to live there

Matty, that could be it.....

A banner that say's......

And you reckon Parra is bad.

Maybe something about living in the 70's or stepping back in time.

"Adelaide - Capital of SfA"

"Is this a city?"

"Call this a (capital) city?"

"Where's Adelaide? - we must have missed it"
