Note 4: Vinnie Grella for the Melbourne Heart played his first match in the A-League after signing for Melbourne Heart prior to the match. It also became his last professional match. He tore his calf muscle shortly after coming onto the field although he completed the match. Later that week he retired from professional football due to the extent of his injury.

Anyone got a spare ticket for the northern terrace?

Might have one or two available for the black reserved .. I believe that's eastern side

Red card didnt bother the Wanderers at all. Just a bit of a reshuffle and back to business.

Wanderers for the win.

That was a performance of a team that has Western Sydney all over it......great effort from the lads to dominate heart with only 10 men for most of the game.....could have been anything if our finishing was a bit sharper

Fantastic result, Heart had nothing and were completely outplayed. I can't believe Aloisi didn't change tactics after the red card. Played right in to our hands. Ha ha

Also great atmosphere all around the stadium.

Great win. They were playing like a team with an EXTRA man! Top call by the announcer at end of game "welcome to wanderland melbourne heart" lol

So many top players tonight it was ridiculous. Just the finishing was letting us down a little.

I thought D'Apuzzo had a fantastic game as did Covic. Also poor Dino was working his ass off again.

Yes he should have scored but every striker will miss those sometimes in their careers, even Hersi missed a similar chance.

People dont realise how hard Dino has to work in that lone striker position, it is truly a thankless task and he did great.

Try playing  up front on your own and you will see how tough it is. Hardest position on the field without question.

Am I right in saying that's 3 penalties we've conceded this season and Covic has saved all 3?

Yeah Adelaide round 2, ESFC round 3 (although they scored on the follow up) and tonight.

It also makes it 2/3 times we've won after going down to 10 men (tonight and Perth round 7)

I have become a huge supporter of Kresinger .. i have waited for him post game just for a chat and everytime he is more then approachable.

Said to him: Dobra igra majstore, he then explained it was a tough game, 1 man down but really appreciated the support.

He seems to thrive on it .. Kresinger is on my next Jersey (yes im getting another one Muahahahha!, total of 4 now not including this one!)

Notes from the game:

1. Who was that cheeky bastard cutting onions in the RBB when they played that video of the beginning of the Wanderers before the game.

2. I still love you Polenz.

3. He saves to the left! he saves to the right! Ante Covic he saves them all night!

4. I could see from the RBB the other bays we're dieing for a Who do we sing for chant after the goal, or was it just me, Dale Cavese still kicks ass though. Also all the bays in the RBB were going hard, loved it.

5. Dino is really coming into his own playing that lone target man up front, he is a f*cking powerhouse.

6. I LOVE THIS CLUB.

Also i tend to sit in the fringes and therefore do not know much of the core RBB boys, but that Capo with the shaved head in the maroon polo, is f*cking phenomenal. Kept everything under control and goes hard, don't know who you are but kudos, legend.
