Wrote this in the other Newcastle away thread, but thought I'd share it here as well.

First time to Newcastle, pumped.

Unfortunately I won't be doing the bus tour as the coaches aren't Alexander accessible. To the RBB's great credit, they went out of their way to call the bus company to try and organize something else for me. After they weren't able to sort a suitable bus, they unnessecarily apologized profusely and then went out their way to try and make other arrangements, messaging me regularly to keep me up to to date. Most of this was done on Tuesday, a day where many of them were already busy, as it was also the same day as the Senate hearing. In addition to this, when I said that I am now planning to catch the train, they said they'd even pay for my train ticket, which I graciously declined as I'm a student & thus it only costs $2.50.

Planning to catch a cab from some station 30 minutes from the stadium, as Broadmeadow station is not Alexander accessible and the trains don't stop regularly at other local stations :crap:

Well worth it thought, first Newcastle away :woah: :woah: :woah: :woah:

Well my fellow forumites, after all that effort, Out.

Instead of chanting with my fellow WSW brothers, I'll be sitting in hospital saying goodbye to the old man. Life can be a cruel mistress at times. Have fun all.

Sorry to hear that, I hope the boys can get a win for you tomorrow.

Thanks everyone for your very kind words, means a lot. It's been coming for quite some years now. In many ways it's for the best, as his quality of life has been virtually non existent.

Whether I watch it live or on replay. Looking forward to yelling at the tv when our boys take the field and hope they manage they do what they do best. Most looking forward to hearing you all conquer the stands, as us grubs always do.

I'm tipping 4-1 Wanderers. Pio to break his duck and King Fathead to score a hat trick :woah:

thoughts and prayers with you big AL...hope the lads get 3 pts for you guys as a result.
