I hooked up my laptop through the TV through the HDMI cord. Too easy. Let's hope it doesn't stuff up tonight.

Question: will streaming of the foxsports website work on a smart tv? I have watched previous games in the laptop but only realized this morning I could probably watch it on the tv! Won't be home till midway through the first half so don't have time to test it out

Will be weird seeing Covic in goal for the other team tonight.

I had no luck with using the smart tv functions , no fox sports app for Samsung smart tv and I couldn't get the web browser that the tv has to load the page. As others have done I plugged my laptop into the tv via a hdmi cable worked a treat

Thanks mate, I preloaded the website this morning before I left, was working fine, though not sure if it will stream properly. Might have to spend the half time break setting the laptop up

So if I press the play arrow then in an I:40 mins the game will start playing?

I am good to go viewing wise tonight, have Foxtel anyway, have laptop plugged in to the big Samsung TV. Well used to doing this kind of gaff being an expat and watching all kinds of dodgy streams at all hours of the night, this is a piece of piss by comparison. Makes a nice change for me to be watching a legal live stream for a change 

 

Wife not happy that I have taken over the big TV and the best laptop, meh she'll get over it
