Minus four.

And I've just emailed a long rant to the FFA addressed to Gallop and DeBonehead informing them that they're the reasons why we won't be at Wanderland to "create a point of difference for football" on Saturday for them.

In for the out x2.

Just got a chance to explain to someone at work what the boycott was about (he is going to Sat's game and didn't know much beyond what he read in the media).  Before the explanation he was very anti-RBB, after the explanation he was very sympathetic to the cause.  Good deed for the day done.

Out :nono:  but still have a nominal level of misguided hope, that FFA will get it right at their board meeting tomorrow & DG will announce a triple backflip tomorrow afternoon.

Realistically, What would it take to call off the boycott, especially at this late stage? Its unlikely the FFA will concede to all the demands out there in the next day or 2, so what would be the compromise ? Is there even one?

I am undecided where I'll be watching on Saturday.

Beer in front of the tv and my son prob giving me a hard time about it.

Out plus 3, son still doesn't understand why he can't go, apparently I'm the worst parent in history. One day you will understand.

Yeah, i was enemy number 1 with my son yesterday lol

It's not an active support banning of players issue for me anymore (although that is the first of many problems). It's more the ineptitude of the FFA is dealing with the issues and not knowing where their support base comes from.

In.

As mentioned on another thread, Mrs. Gazmon is due to drop Little Gazmon in late Jan/early Feb so we may not get to many games after then, and she wants to go. But support the boycott 100% and don't think I'll be wandering down from Bay 66 to the RBB either :D

It'll come down to who is injured for us.

Brisbane are coming off the back of a dismal draw, the fizz is starting to go out for Aloisi.

A fully fit WSW would put them away, an injury plagued WSW could see our first loss in a while.

If we don't take our chances we're in trouble. CCM let us off the hook really in some aspects.

6 east stand memberships out

Looks like a large chunk here on the forum will not be going to the game. What intentions do people voice on twitter and FB?

On Wanderers family there were 300 boycotts out of 2.5k members on the group. On Twitter, it seems like everyone is boycotting.

How this translates to our member base of 17,000 I'm not sure how far the boycott will go. As I stated on another thread, how many just go to the game to watch football but don't have the time to read (or care about) the papers/forums/twitter side of things? Hard to say.

In a few years time when they begin to get it, both of your sons will appreciate it no doubt. Edited by Rhys
