If we can beat the nix I dare say we'll be vsing mvc in the grand final

Is that with Popa in or Popa out?....  :ninja:

Popa at centre back

Nah, save that glorious November 16th of November 05 elbow to someone more deserving. It's a shame Bosnar has left CCM, he'd be a prime candidate

I'm still waiting for the day when Popa rips off his suit to reveal him in full Wanderers kit screaming at the players "If you can't f@#$ing do it, I'll do it myself!"

Still about 150 tickets left plus the away bay and whatever is left in the south terrace GA.  Plus no shows of course.

There is a full away bay for today??

Surely for Perth, Wellington etc they only need to put aside a few rows. Or do they split the crowd anyway, just in case us grubs go the biff with the 4 people who turn up?

i dont know where to ask but if i wanted to go to east sydney and i was headed to east sydney and past parramatta and if police/ticket inspectors decided to check my carriage would me using my membership even though i am headed in the wrong direction for parramatta station work or would i be fined?

Do inspectors even check tickets anymore with the Opal card? They've got no way of knowing that tickets haven't been purchased.

If so, just say you just got on and are meeting a friend at the next station or so and driving from there. So you are on your way!

Surely you guys get 16,000+ today?

No rain on the radar and a family-friendly 5pm kickoff. Ticket sales look good and everything points to your biggest crowd since early 2014.

I hope, but I doubt it. We've been really struggling to heat the high end of 14k for a while, which is a shame. I'd be really happy to see a 16k crowd though.

Another thing that also must be taken into account is that many people still carry that 'sold out' mentality with them from our season 1. I see posts every week on Facebook for people asking for spare tickets for the east/west stand and how they are desperate go to a game. Just bloody buy them online! It's just hard to explain to people how to get tickets and many believe there are none left so they don't bother turning up.

We got 16k against Mariners in late 2014. That was shortly after the ACL win before the bandwagoners started to leave.

NTS and Bridge the only familiar faces in the starting 11: I'd say there are still a lot of members out there who are yet to bond with that new side. But yes, sub 16k would be a bit disappointing.

Are there people that really think like this? Who cares who's playing, just get out and support your team FFS. If I met our squad outside of game days I wouldn't recognise more than half of them, especially the Spanish guys. I don't even know what they look like to be honest, but I'll always show up. They're still our boys.

Maybe but I'd hope that 6 games in, playing the football they're playing that members would be excited by now

Inspectors use hand held apps to check opal cards

'Family friendly' can work both ways on Saturdays especially. People playing sport during the day may not be able to make it.

Still, I'd like to see 16+

Remember to wear white today!!

On average, fifty-two women in Australia will be killed by their partners each year. That’s one woman killed every week as a result of intimate partner violence.
Furthermore, one in three women experience physical and/or sexual violence perpetrated by a person known to them and 40% of women have experienced violence since the age of 15.

Disgusting statistics.

Won VIP dugout family pass seats via an NRMA comp which means I've finally managed to drag Mrs smp along for a game at last  :woah:

If nothing else it means someone else can take the 2 year old to the toilet when we're about to score for a change  :xbop:

Ahhh, that's so cool!! :D Enjoy yourselves!!

Am in Perth today for a wedding. Smurf FC is playing here today. They can be grateful it is an evening match, as it is hot as buggery here today.

Was going through the city and northbridge in taxi. Didn't see any Hakoah blue jerseys or Glory ones, but a red and black WSW jersey instead?! Man, those jerseys stick out :-)

Why bus drivers still aren't trained/informed about free match day travel is beyond me. Either i show my membership card and they have no idea so don't question it, or they say that it isn't a publicly operated bus and I just use my opal card to avoid causing a scene. It's always the same bus that I catch, how can it differ between drivers?!

Mate, I think you are right! I got my time zones confused. Which means that both Glory and Smurfs will be suffering today.
