I believe this is the Red Army's tour round.

Expecting 6 visitors from pissant town. Was going to be 7, but one suggested she'd pulled the pin

It was probably that feral mutt who keeps taking her top off.

1-0 to us and everyone is spared that sight.

Will be there hoping for a 3-0 win without a Kris Griffiths-Jones sendoff for us.

Unfortunately, Amor has realised Margush is a better GK than Hall.

Looking forward to the game, cheering on the RBB, the Poz, hell I'm even ready for a WDYSF, wtf that's what we do right

I haven't done the analysis but I'm guessing this isn't a if we win we could be 3rd,4th or 5th. maybe make the top 2 type of game, so no pressure (unless you call hanging on for 6th being pressure).

If we play our strongest team we should win, so 2-1 us. Crowd 8942

Here's the analysis for positions at the end of the Round

1. smurfs (even if they lose)

2. Tards (even if they win)

3, 4. 5. Perth

3. 4. 5. Vi$ion

3. 4. 5. Roar

6 . 7. 8. WSW

6. 7. 8. 9. Jets

6. 7. 8. 9. Nix

7. 8. 9. CCM

10. Adelaide

So if Perth and Nix draw, Jets and Roar draw and vi$ion win and we win, the ladder would look like

1. Smug smurfs (?)

2. tards (?)

3. Vi$ion (33)

4. Perth (32)

5. Roar (31)

6. WSW (27)

7. Jets (23)

8. Nix (23)

9. CCM (20)

10. Adelaide (14)

Next week smurfs play ccm at Allianz, tards v Perth in the split round.

Following weekend, Vi$ion v Jets, Adelaide v Roar (both post ACL away games) and WSW (post ACL away) v Nix

Looking for a babysitter. any one want to miss the game and look after a 1 year old who is irritable and doesn't sleep. hopefully my mother in law is free. If so in+1.

Just to be clear, you are looking for a +1 for your mother in law to help babysit your baby right?

With all the rain recently is there any danger for the game to be postponed? Hoping it isn't

Nah...give 'em gumboots with studs, might improve our passing.

Hmmmm. I got a bad feeling about this game. Perhaps the complacency shown against some of "this is ours" teams this year has me skittish. That, and I was impressed with how the Reds played their ACL match this week.

How anyone in our side could have complacency after being annihilated by two asian teams and looking disinterested against Perth I could never understand. If they do they can hand back the shirt.

if dimas plays don't let the players bother putting on their gear, just give Adelaide the 3 points and the team can sit in their PJs and play PlayStation

Dimas is employing the turnstile method of defence at the moment

OK,I'll ask.....What is the turnstile method ?  ( Is it similar to the rhythm method ? ) lol.

hmmm, yes I'm also pessimistic about the game

We don't have momentum having taken big losses.

We've been rotating the squad so players don't have "chemistry".

Plus Carrusca was not picked for Champions League so he's fresh.

The only way for us to win is to run straight at their keeper and pressure him to make a mistake but I'm not confident that the team will shift from their "tika taka" attack plan.

I'll have a good day but yeah that's my (uninformed) two cents.

The turnstile method is just standing there while people go through you.

as opposed to the witches hat method where people easily go around you.

Ala Hamill.... and Borda.....

Carrusca omitted from match day squad.

Wonder if he has been dropped for his outburst after last weeks game?

Apparently Santa is injured and will the game.

I've just looked at the match preview on the WSW website. A couple of the statistics are tackles won/lost and duels won/lost. Adelaide's stats are better than ours for both. Iirc every other WSW preview I've looked at this season the opposition has had better stats in those areas every time. There must be a message in there somewhere.
