Who will play right back? Hamill, Herd or Tate Russell

With Corntthwaite, Bonevacia and Santalab on 4 yellows will he keep them on the bench.

Has Riera recovered so that he can start?

Could Majok get a go with the NYL team having a bye?

Last week the Jets played Ugarkovic in the front third.

Don’t get why we would rest players on 5 yellows, not like there is a final next week.

If they play and get a yellow they miss a week, if we rest them so they don’t get a yellow they are missing a week (and  another one later when they do get a yellow)

Id go with herd at right back but I suspect it will be Hammil, I’m thinking herd is gone. Otherwise same team that played the coasties

I would protect Roly to keep him available for the Heartless game by starting Baccus Snr.

Am roly fan but hasn’t delivered as of yet not sure we need to protect him

if anything if baby baccus is now a starter I’d say Kearyn on form deserves to be ahead of roly

a week on the bench might give him a kick of the pants

but im not sure if that’s part of ‘the process’

Jets are 2nd for a reason they have been consistent most of the year a point away would do me fine, I know we want win a few in a row but as long as we don’t lose I’d be happy if the performance was better like against mariners

Definitely in for this trip (having missed the previous jaunt up to Newy).

Going to be an interesting match. I think we can do the Jets, if we play with the same degree of passion & desperation we showed against Dynamo Woy Woy. Without O'Donovan they are going to be less problematic in front of the goal than if they did have him, though as said previously Petratos needs attention. As for starting any of the boys in yellow peril...fooking do it Gombau. As Stringer says, better to get the result with players on board & run the risk of missing next round, than not playing them and delaying the punishment till later.

If Herd is available and in JG's good books then I'd look at bringing him back, and as Gunner says Roly hasn't delivered as much as he should have for us so far this season.

As for scheduling, it's yet another example of anti-supporter work from the FFA. I know that schools off & nominally more people will have the freedom to travel than not if this match was played on a Friday night a few weeks back. However, that's where the problem is. Many of us who will or want to head up to Newy will have the joyful experience of battling traffic on the M4/M7/Pennant Hills Rd/M1 just as all the holiday makers decide to piss off for Xmas. I'd reckon if you can't leave before 2pm from western Sydney to drive up to Newy then forget it.

My formation and tactics to use against newy .

                                             Vedran

.             Hamill.       Thwaite.        Aspro.        Raul .

                                             Baby baccus

.            Mark bridge.    K baccus. Cejudo.      Majok .

                                                Riera

basilcally our strongest lineup jumpie offers nothing so I put majok on the wing he has good speed and is scoring lots of goals in the youth league hamill is in because of Rizzo suspended and roly on bench because want to keep him clean for big game against visionless I'm happy with rest of the starting 11

tactics is to basically stop petratos from turning and getting into space and to stop the long balls they play we can win this as long as we keep petratos and Nabbout out of the game it is highly winable

prediction 2-1 I reckon we can win this if we bring the form from last win we can win but it will be a narrow win just keep the jets front third quiet it can be done COYW:cheeky::xnod:

Agree with your selection except Majok on the right and Bridge on the left.

bench Roly, Santalab, Jumpei, Hall, Cornthwaite

I give this one a miss. First season where I don't make it to Newcastle. It's part of the process.

How FFA can schedule the games in Gosford and Newcastle as poorly as they do is hard to understand. One would think that the S1 Good Friday and S2 Rd 1 games were a souce of inspiration, but that does not appear to be the case.

Oh well.

This will be hard. You have to pay credit to Merrick, he is doing a good job without having his two best players, yet they are in second. Makes you wonder what the problem was at the nux.

Anyway

If we start the same team as last week I think we may snag this one. Personally I would start Santa but could understand starting biscuit for 50-60 mins.

2-1 us.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I have two adult tickets and one parking ticket to the game available.

I just want to get rid of them, happy to take face value for the tickets and I’ll throw in the parking pass for free. Available via email.

Message me.

Do you mean:

No, trains are running.

or

No trains are running.

That reminds me of a poster I had in my classroom, highlighting the power of the comma.

The poster had a graphic depicting a teenage girl,  her angry father and the girl's boyfriend, who is extending his hand in the direction of the girl's backside.

The young man first of all says - "I can't leave her behind alone"

Then he is depicted running,  being  chased by the enraged father, and yelling "Comma! There's a comma!"

Commas actually DO matter!

:)  :)

Oh s*i*.

Ref is Kris Griffiths-Jones.

Merrick has promoted Shabow to his squad.

We're cooked

Anyine thinking of heading up relatively early & need a lift? I'm probably going to drive up & aim to get to Newy well before 4pm. Maybe grab a feed in Hamilton...
