It's meant to be hot Sunday.

if the boys died at 70 minutes the previous games they'd be lucky to last a half in 30 degree heat.

Still undefeated in Newcastle.

Hope the sloppy half assed performance in the cup loss lifts them. Play anything like Tuesday and we're ****ed.

I think we'll lose, but whatever...

3-2 win. Bridge to bag his first upon return.

I hope you're right but I don't hold the same high hopes for Bridge. He is well off the pace and it looks like it's going to be a few weeks before he gets back to anywhere close to what he used to be.

With Vargas out it's a boost for us, still not sure we win this one. Draw i think but hoping we just get those goals early before our post 60th min sluggish period hits.

Jets will probably set up like this

....................Duncan

Georgievski...Boogaard....NTS......Vuijica

...........Ugarkovic.......Kantarovski

?..................Petratos......Nabbout

...............O'Donovan

could we get a Boogaard own goal or red card?

I'm expecting Jumpei to start with Sotirio on the bench. Thwaite was not named in the squad, Hamill to start as CB.

I can see Sotirio on the subs bench....he has a decent scoring record against the Jets

I prefer him to Jumpei

although basically they both do the same thing run really fast before taking the wrong decision and losing the ball

Out...cant make it..booo :(

Another 'Desmond' i think for the score....'2 - 2'.

Pretty much no one rates us this weekend.

I think we can if we lean on Santa like we did all last season to get us out of a pickle.

I love it when no one rates us. That's when I am at most ease watching our games. I think our teams of the past have always enjoyed the underdog tag also.

Can't stand when we get overconfident and cocky. It never works for us, and you can almost sense the disappointment coming. That's more ESFC.

Glad Tsatsimas was flooded with applications to replace Popovic. Must be saving a motza week in week out not hiring anyone. Meanwhile.....oh but of course. ....they know what they're doing. They wear suits don't they. Only the march into the stadium matters. The rest will be cooking in an away bay as forgiving as Gosford.

As stated earlier, if we can't beat Jets and Victory who are missing key players we ain't winning **** this season.

I still believe we won't win anything until we get back to Parra. Don't know why, just do.... I guess it's a combination of lack lustre home grounds, poor crowds, atmosphere and now the manager leaving.

History tells you that around the 5th, 6th and 7th years is the toughest years for all a-league clubs. By that time the novelty of a new club has worn off and the mediocrity and grind of supporting a football club sets in. That is the toughest period we are going through now.

But eventually all clubs do come back and find ways to attract new supporters after this period. We will get something out of move to Parramatta. But in terms of winning anything, well that is all dependent on who you recruit as manager.

I have had that vibe also, the new stadium will be a massive boost for everything when it comes.

Anything good before then is a bonus.

May as well get second jobs and start saving to pay for the M4 and some tolls that will by then equal the cost of a match day ticket. Till then I'm looking forward to the next two road trips and unfamiliar to Spot less faces.

Anyone staying in Newcastle after the game and looking for a place to eat. If your near Hamilton, or even if your not it's worth the drive. The Kent Hotel for dinner and for breakfast Eurobar. I can recommend both. Both are in Beaumont Street, Hamilton. I'll be at both of them.
