We're so not ready to play the ACL defending champions with our 3 goals in 4 matches vs NPL teams.

Other than that, I'm definitely looking forward for this match. We need to fill the terraces as we will need to out-perform the Guangzhou actives.

16k crowd at least for this one.

Not wanting to over excite anyone, but if we wear our home shirt, then Guangzhou will likely wear their yellow away kit, and the AFC prefer teams to stick to all light or all black so they will probably wear their white shorts leaving us with black just like against Hiroshima.

Against Guizhou, both sides had black shorts anyway.

If we beat Guanzhou, no team can stop us. We would've beaten the biggest threat possible. Keep them scoreless here, score once over there in 7 minutes (as per usual) and park the ***** bus.

We need to attack them at home, in the stands (not literally) and on the pitch. We need to go all out for the win at home and depending on the score we talk about tactics next round.

need to defend hard and not let a goal in. I think we can sneak in a goal away then we are with a chance, just need to keep a clean sheet

I'm just looking forward to going back to Parramatta Stadium again and watching some football - which is the original reason I signed up for the Wanderers anyway!

    This guy gets it.

Had a dream overnight that I was at parra for this and while waiting in bay 56 for teams to come out the Guangzhou squad walked past and were having a chat and super friendly. Wasn't in English though...

Need to lay off the forum before bed.

If we beat them do they have to change their motto?

lol, it's quite a demanding motto! No pressure or anything. Although, perhaps it's just one of those "engrish" translations? hahah

Evergrande won 2-1 wednesday night. Another problem for us is that they are right in the middle of their season. Match fitness won't be a problem for them. We are definitely going to be underdone. Our midfield looks a little light on, still think we need another addition before the A-League season kicks off.

Just realised that Spira isn't mentioned at all. Wouldn't he have been submitted regardless of injury as he would have recovered come semifinals/finals (;)) time?
