Wanderers Youth Vs Newcastle Youth 4/1/2015 4:00PM

Same as last week. Come on down and watch this talented young team take on Newie.

For the fans of a wing back you won't be disappointed with the number 2. Jake Adelson is on fire and works his guts out all game. We all know by know I'm a big fan of the 2 and 3( Shane Dcuhna) he and Manos-1 run the backs brilliantly.

Then we can move up the park through all positions for some pretty decent youth league football. Kuzi, Bacchus, Youllie, Lo and the list goes on.

I see this as a great opportunity to kick start a good few days of football. Get down for the 4 pm kick off , watch the lads and get motivated for a quick trip out to Parra to give al shamri a warm welcome. Then have a break for a day and we take on MV on Tuesday in the A league.

It may well be mate. We got a good bit if cloud cover from early afternoon yesterday and it's been the same for quite a few afternoons.

The stands are undercover and there is a decent shade cloth area on the grass off to the side off the stands.

Probably be there.

I'm tipping Shane and Jake to make their 1st grade debuts before the season ends.

I can't say be be disappointed to see that.

Marcos Flores has advised that he's playing in the NYL game at Blacktown today.

Kick off is scheduled for 4pm.

Currently 2-0 to Newcastle at half time, good patches for WSW few and far between.

- Newcastle just well organized at the moment but doing nothing really special, first time watching WSW, a bit disappointed apart from some nice attacks through our wings

- First goal came through some sloppy defending through the middle, Newcastle just had 2-3 quick passes before Flores had a shot (I think), which was parried out before was tapped in (our left back switched off)

- Second goal coming through a corner, long high ball to the back post before unmarked attacker looped the ball in over manos.

- Newcastle have had another couple of opportunities where they could have put more misery on us but failed to convert

- Flores doesn't do much running but when he gets on the ball he looks real damgerous.

- maybe I'm expecting too much but I was a little disappointed by our defense been opened up quite easily and simple passes going astray with little pressure is frustrating

Missing Kuzi on the left in my opinion. Quiet a few RP in this line up.

Our 5 is killing their right side attack. Good defending. Lo is taking on a big 8. Handling his own.

Jets are a bit more clinical. Seem to be reading our plays well. We are just off so far.

No mate, I don't think you were expecting to much. They were off today no doubt about it. Adelson was off today unfortunately. Dcuhna was ok. Usually those two are on. The 4 was a let down in defence. 5 Smithd was the best defender today. The 2 and 3 usually outshine him.

Definitely missed Kuzi on the left. I thought our 11 today isn't quite there. The right wasn't much better. Could have something to do with the 2 not at his best. Would maybe liked to have seen the two moved over into the 11 a bit earlier.

They just didn't seen to gel today. There were a few replacement players which may have been an issue with their performance.

It's unfortunate that today was your first game mate.

This was like watching the first team.

We had little to offer compared to the Jets.

Two disappointing performances in a row.

Squad appears unbalanced when players such as Perkatis are missing.

Interesting that Kuzi & Fofannah were not in the squad today. Maybe we'll see them together with Sotorio & Alessi in the HAL squad on Tuesday.

I was disappointed to see Kuzi not selected.

Never occurred to me that they made get a run on Tuesday.
