The way the club have done this is clever I think. We (hopefully) get a marquee player, but at a reduced price (based on what's been written in other threads here, we're only footing part of the wage bill). If he ends up being no good, it reduces our exposure. If he's awesome, bargain. Nice strategy!

Welcome Nico. It gets effing hot in summer, even in the night games. Looking forward to seeing you in action

He's a marquee because of the way the FFA changed the rules about loan signings. Victory from my understanding, paid large loan fees up front for their Rogic & Troisi loan signings, essentially paying the club directly for their wages, but officially, the parent club paid the wages while Victory only paid a small amount, which went into the cap as near or at minimum wages. So it was a cap rort.

FFA changed the rules to prevent that. I'm not 100% certain but I believe it's something like loan fees are included in the cap, and/or the players whole wage is counted.

As marquee though it doesn't matter.

Welcome...

But, I'm curious to see what this means for King Butters.

Mitch might stay in the middle, with Nico playing on the left wing as a classical winger.

Mitch might stay in the middle, with Nico playing on the right wing as a typical Popa inverted winger. Jumpei moves to the left to be an inverted left winger.

Nico stays in the middle, Mitch moves onto the left wing and plays as an inverted left winger.

Yeeeesss!

Welcome Nico!

We have now a potent front third, we will see Nico, King Mitch and the Bulut train destroy teams.

The wait has been worth it.

ACL and the A League are in for a big shake, our team to go deep into the ACL and another Premier's Plate is calling.

Me thinks we need to get a decent display cabinet, silverware is coming... :xbop:

Add to the fact we have Jumpei, Scott, Santa as well Sotirios starting to hit the target before he got injured.
