Where in the Sports Park is the match being played??

Where's the best parking for it?

They play out on the main athletics field. Just park behind field and walk straight into grandstand.

So looking on Google Maps - it's the ground with the running track around it??

Great effort by the boys :good:

Those who went, how did we go out there? Thought victory would have had a decent youth squad to tell you the truth!

Was a good game to attend - a warm day, but a lovely breeze in the shade!

Both sides had a few chances - but we capitalised ours. Manos had a few good saves for us.

Nabbout was the only A-League player from Victory we recognised - although he did what he did well in A-League matches - went missing.

Kwabs played RM for approx 70 mins or so, but failed to flatter. Being honest, NYL is his level.

Marty Lo played DM & was replaced after 60 mins, which was probably a pre-determined move, given our AL schedule in coming weeks.

Kuzi had a good game at LM & could easily have bagged a hatrick. Needs to work on his defense / tracking back thou.

Our injury replacement player, Kearyn Baccus's younger brother, replaced Liam Youill (his cousin), with approx 15 mins remaining.

The RB who was at the Everton youth academy until recently & was involved in the incident with Ruka last week had a reasonable game.

Shane Da'Cunha is a standout at CB every week. Whilst he's only 18, he's a constant in the Young Socceroos squad & IMO must be offered an A-League contract next season.

Thomas Manos had a good game, but I'm keen to see Tom Hewett - Bell tested at this level. Ron has huge wraps on this kid.

anyone have lineups from the game today?

Nope - neither WSW or MVC official Twitter accounts posted it. Grrrrr.

Frustrating that the majority of the A-League clubs manage to post that information, plus more, yet we're stuck with one which doesn't. :(

I doubt there are any 'laws' against it, but keeping the spotlight away from the players is a reason why clubs don't like revealing much information about their young players. It also helps protect against other teams scouting or trying to contact them.

I neglected to mention that Richie Darko, who returned from injury today, replaced Kwabs for the last 20 mins or so.

Whilst he's predominately a left footed player, he was effective playing RM & was involved in the lead up to the last goal. WSW.

I would have thought you would have run down and collected the sheet and posted it to twitter megan. become the club's official tweeter :) :)

Team sheets would be awesome.

I thought number 2 had a great second half.

I agree with the performance of the centre back also. Seems to have good vision and controls the back we'll. I'm becoming a big fan of the youth league.
