Montalbano
He's a westie, so he's bred tough.Should be fine for the derby. Where he will get an assist of a free kick. I have to say that Wellington were using some rugby tactics in the first half. Link to comment
Gazmon
Hoping he recovers from the knock alright - he was out before he hit the ground and seemed to show the 'fencing response' to a small degree. With any luck, he just needs some rest, but it's reasonable to think he may miss next weeks game. I don't know too much about physiology or sports science so hopefully someone else can enlighten us a bit more. Having suffered an injury similar (albeit mine was far worse... hospitalization and 6-months no physical contact), I wouldn't expect him to play next week. No doubt he will have scans today/tomorrow, but given it's clearly a concussion there is no need to take any risks. Link to comment
Erebus
If its a concussion, he'll be gone for 3-4 weeks. Link to comment
TehSmileyBandit
Massive loss early on, he'd impressed in pre-season and against CCM. Very much wishing a speedy recovery. Link to comment
GD07
He won't play next week. Just watching the replay, he copped it from muscat and then copped it again when his head hit the ground. Link to comment
Pup55
without having the slightest idea of what happened and how bad it is, i'll guess he misses the Derby and Adelaide back at home the following week. Link to comment
Stevo99
If its a concussion, he'll be gone for 3-4 weeks. Unless it's Poljak last year, who got sent straight back on and played the next week wswfc and wendybr 2 Link to comment

HungHuynh
I think with better balance, Mooy could/would have scored one in last night game. Feint 1st defender, and only if his balance is controlled, a shot could have made before 2nd defender coming in. Link to comment
stavup
Mooy had the best game of his carrerr at the Wanderers last night, the way he directed play, and his passing going forward and switching play was world class..well done after nearly killing yourself two weeks ago.. Link to comment
Kizza
Some of those passes.....jesus they were good.He pulled out of a 50/50 header though so he's still shy from that challenge a couple of weeks ago. Link to comment
MartinTyler
He played some great stuff at the beginning and the end of the game but went missing either side of half time.....but then again most of the team went missing in that period. Credit to Aaron and the rest of the boys though for turning it around after they had gone 1-0 down. Link to comment
blurbel
Mooy was bossing midfield last night, probably 1 of his most dominant performances for us. I like. Link to comment

Almo
We have to get Mooy to sign a contract extension before his contract expires so just incase a bigger club take an interest in him we at least get a decent transfer fee Kizza 1 Link to comment

The 23-year-old has fielded interest from overseas clubs but Fairfax Media understands he will remain in Australia – although, it was not clear which club he had agreed to join – to push for a place in Ange Postecoglou’s World Cup squad. Prydzopolis
That's a big shame, someone we could really build our team around for a couple of years. Rather silly really, not like he is on the fringes of the side either and with Asian champions league coming up you would think a move abroad would be on the cards and not to a rival! Link to comment
JamCal
What would be in it for him to leave....? He's not got a better chance of making the squad at any other club except Brisbane.... **** maybe he's going to Brisbane. Then we'd really be ****ed. Link to comment

mack
Mariners seem the most likely. Mariners have Caceres as their only creative midfielder right now, and if McGlinchey doesn't come back from his loan they'll desperately need a new creative midfield player. I don't know if Brisbane could afford him cap-wise. Carns 1 Link to comment
