Something interesting I found out..

This wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_FIFA_World_Cup_qualification_%E2%80%93_AFC_Second_Round, had the venues for all the upcoming Socceroos games... I looked at it last night, and they have since been removed.

If my memory serves me correct it said.

Australia v Krygystan 12 Nov 2015 at Brisbane Stadium

Australia v Tajikstan 24 March 2016 at Newcastle Stadium

Australia v Jordan 29 March 2016 at Stadium Australia

I'm 100% certain that it said Newcastle and Stadium Australia for the Tajikstan and Jordan game and 80% sure it said Brisbane for the Kyrgystan game

Probably took it down when they had scheduled a game in a region (Newcastle) that, at this moment, does not have a HAL team

You can look at the history of the wiki article at the top of the page. Most likely it was just someone who put random venues based on no actual information. Happens a lot on Wikipedia. That's probobly why it was removed.

You're probably right, but I prefer my conspiracy theory. It's going to be a long offseason, I need something to focus on ;)

Luongo is an interesting one,

I personally hope that he goes back to Tottenham,

But he wouldn't be a first team starter, he would sit behind Eriksen but he would get some good European experience in Europa League.

He'd would get game time at Villa,

Tim Sherwood is all about Tim Sherwood.

Anything to promote his own players from his time as a youth coach at Spurs.

Luongo would get an opportunity

My theory:

-The AFC have a specific date to which national federations need to submit the venues they will play the matches in.

-The date came and went, the FFA submitted it and then the AFC updated the Wiki page.

-Someone from the FFA or somewhere has noticed that the venues are up on Wiki and removed it themselves.

I think thats the most likely outcome....
