I’ve lost count of the number of games we’ve dominated over the years and found a way to lose. It’s nice seeing that baffled, deflated look on the opponents this time.

The issue, Policing at the Derby game, has been positioned as 'Policing the Active RBB section'. It isn't this. It's a much bigger issue ... ongoing bad policing, wasting tax-payer (&spectator) at a sporting venue. Bad policing is bad policing. I've been going to games since the 70s. Seen a lot of high-tension games in eras where police were necessary. High presence, antagonistic policing is not necessary at WSW games. And thankfully it never has been. At the last Derby, we had a magical festival of culture and football ruined, by police. It was a wonderful party, snapped away in a moment. Police should make us all feel safer. We just need to call the events of the last Derby for what they are. Totally unacceptable policing.

Technically if we win our remaining games, the Nix lose all their games, CCM beat the Nix but lose the rest, Victory beat the Nix but lose the rest, Sydney lose against us, and Macarthur beat Sydney and the Nix but lose the rest, then we win the Premiers Plate by being level on points with CCM and the Nix, but having won more games than the Nix and would need a better GD than CCM. Just booking my WSW 2024 Premiers tattoo now.

Its exceptionally easy to dislike Uskok, Germaine, Lewis and Baccus. All 4 have their hands all over opposition players, dragging them around by shirts if theres even a slight confrontation (example Mila giving some lip). Add to that a protected player like Davilla and its always likely to kick off. It was the same with SFC back when they had ninko playing. They're just a particularly unlikeable squad.

I think it was around RD 10 when I said play the youth and build for next season. We do not have the cattle to be a top 6 side. We never replaced Calum, Layouni, Schneiderlin, Amaltifano or Mrcela. 99.9% of Wanderers fans can see that players like Pierias, Clisby and Russell and co are sub-standard. I watched Rudan's presser... hooked Clisby for being **** (20 rounds too late) and then had the nerve to call out Younis for not tracking back for the last goal. Please get of our club, Mr Rudan. Take Antonsson and the other garbage you and Eddie Bosnar brought into the club. Play the NPL squad, and forget about signing VISA players next season. We don't know how to recruit decent ones. We are crap. Have been since the Adelaide Grand Final.

3:30pm on a Saturday arvo when grass roots season has started is completely stupid. Sometimes I wonder if they even want people to attend games?

I wanted further punishment, so watched the replay Paramount. Only the Coves chants could be heard for 90% of the game. The flops turned the RBB audio off. Younis needs to hold his head up high and ignore Rudan. He has more talent than most of the first grade squad.

maybe. or maybe everyone is tired and dont give a **** anymore. when the season finishes and we don't make the finals, we'll here he's keeping his job and we'll have another large group of players let go - and we'll have yet another season of rebuilding. it's exhausting.

No point discussing his sacking if the derby loss and getting rolled 8-0 by City didn't do it. I'd make a joke about him outlasting the league, but given the length of his contract and what's coming out of the APL it might not be a joke.

Faghani is by far the best ref in the A-League. It isn't even close. That was close to the worst 45 mins of the season (and we've had a lot of bad 45 mins efforts this season), followed by close to the best 45 mins of the season. This team, man.

Vintage WSW, scoring a late equaliser and not being able to hold on to it. I cannot see the club doing anything under the existing stewardship. We played our best football in S4. Since then we’ve been the football version of trains, planes and automobiles. John Candy’s smelly socks everywhere, but no happy ending. Rudan out, Merrick in. At least he knows how to put a fit, physical and structured team on the pitch. Which is what is required in the AL.

I think Lederer has been unlucky rather than clueless. Everyone wanted Gombau, he got Gombau. WSW Gombau was a very different version of the original Gombau . Everyone was impressed with Robbo so he got Robbo. Robbo was a used car salesman. You can’t really blame him for how those two turned out cause very few would’ve picked those poor outcomes based on their previous gigs. The one that I blame him/the club for is Babel’s sacking cause I think he was punted way too prematurely and that for me was the start of the out of control spiral we’ve been in since. Hiring Babel in the first place was a decent shout as an outside the square option, with decent OS pedigree. I think it’s harsh to say that Lederer has been useless cause he’s listened to the fans wishes and/or done his homework. Sometimes you just have no luck

OK I get the criticism on Antonsson for the penalty because it was a big moment but are we really going to say he was a failure? By that logic we should also say Borello has had a poor season because he barely gets the ball. Antonsson 5 goal and 3 assists from 22 appearances, Borello 1 goal and 4 assists and 14 appearances. Doesn't matter who you put up there the result is the same. The issue isn't the striker its getting the ball to them. Majority of the time they get the ball is at halfway, not the 18 yard box. That is a stat I would be interested in seeing. That's the problem we can't get the ball in the front 3rd for them enough. My question to the forum is, is it the striker's fault he gets the ball in less threatening areas or is it the team and the system they play that isn't optimising the player's strengths.

Watched the replay last night after getting home First half we were poor, amazing how we did not concede. Antonsson did nothing, same as Ninkovic, Milanovic was the spark we needed, that goal after he came on was a banger, Sonny finally came to life when he scored that goal and that was beautiful football in the leadup to Hendrix goal. MacArthur, they couldn't get things go their way because Alireza didn't allow them, and that frustrated them a lot.

After our previous match against the Bulls, during the press conference Sterjovski repeatedly said all the refereeing decisions were correct in response to the journalists' questions. He wouldn't say anything else despite being asked to. I thought fair enough at the time. But not now. When asked about today's match at today's press conference he said he was unhappy about some decisions and including that he thought Borrello's challenge should have been a red. That seems very hypocritical to me after his silence last time.

I mean….really…I’m a 6’4” fella who can devour a my own curry takeaway and someone else’s with room to spare…… But I sat there and did it…because she does shyte I want to do….. I held a fart for that the whole time too, and let it go and soon as outside….that is me really trying for the wife that is.

Younis gets 20+ minutes., lots of emotion in a derby, played well. Rudan- throws him under the bus and calls out an 18 year old who played 20 odd minutes No doubt Younis will be named to play NPL today. I wonder what kind of emotional state he will be in

WSW club doing a good thing

Classic A-League quality there. Ref & Lino miss the most obvious handball penalty we've ever had, then our star foreign striker takes the shittest penalty in a decade and gets it saved by one of the worst keepers in the league.

This - he was very consistent - there were several shouts from us for fouls in the second half that he just waved away but you don't care because he was consistent. Seriously, we need to clone the bloke and have him do every A league game!

The season was over weeks ago. What is happening now is just continuous kicks to the nuts.

It's already a nightmare getting into the stadium, two sets of security. One at the main gate, then another before you actually enter the stadium proper. Let's add wrist bands now to make it even more challenging, perhaps anklets would be more in order for wsw as we are all regarded as criminals anyway.. Im glad I decided not to go this time !!
