Missing out because of work :(

Might be a bit optimistic but this game is definitely winnable if we play like we did against Wellington, especially like we did in the first half. City are also missing that flopping mutt brandan.

Need to prove we can back up after a good performance... prove last week wasn't another false dawn....

Expecting a half decent crowd for a Friday night this time.

Yep. Popa needs to nullify Kilkenny somehow.

Rumour is Franjic is injured so Manny Muscat to RB for Clisby, Martinez and Sotorio to smoke.

Will Bouzanis play? Last time he went off with a rib injury.

    Plus no Cahill.

No Cahill, Franjic & Brandan certainly makes it an easier prospect.

Also would be nice to beat them as there's a big chance we're playing them in the finals.

Franjic injury is a rumour. Jakobsen might return from injury.

Fornaroli has scored 8 penalties this year and I think he's missed 2 or 3 .

How does city get so many penalties ? Not looking for FFA conspiracy btw .

At least Vedran is less likely than redmayne/tyson to give one away . ( no jinx )

On a different note, if we somehow manage to get a home elimination final, where would it be played? Spotless, ANZ, Campbelltown, elsewhere?

FFA control the final series, so it'll be at ANZ or Spotless. Knowing the FFA they'd probably stick us at ANZ if ANZ offers them $5 more than they would get at Spotless.

We would have to win all 4 games and we'd be on 40 points.

City would have to lose or draw the other 3 for us to finish above them.

Roar could win 2 and draw 1, but they'd have to lose the last one by enough for us to turnaround their 7 goal difference advantage on us.

If one of the above teams beats those numbers, then Perth would also need to only win 2 games and the 1 draw.

I live in hope atm and remember the thread fondly of finishing 3rd on our way to the GF.

Then the issue will be team selection with ACL still going. For our ACL to be on track, we need a win by Shanghai over the the Mitsubishis
