I expect Seyi to disembark from the same big bird as the rest of the squad tomorrow, undertake a fitness test on Thursday & be in light training on Friday.

Damn this lad is still bunkered down in Italy.

His visa has been delayed primarily thru the outbreak of the Ebola virus & the stringent people movement / immigration policies being implemented across the globe.

Club were hopeful or getting him to Dubai during the recent 10 day tour, but even that request was blocked.

He has undertaken all the required medical tests to get clearance to fly to Australia, however, we'll just have to be patient a little while longer. :sorry:

All the more reason to make the guy feel welcome with a special airport welcome...

I haven't even heard anyone talk about him at training, haven't even heard his name mentioned unlike romeo who was the hot topic before he even arrived. Last week the big order arrived and I was hanging up all the player's new jerseys for the season ahead and he doesn't even have one.

Are we sure he's not just a friendly billionaire who needs our bank account details so he can deposit the money we won? Seyi the enigma

Nigeria are apparently doing a fantastic job containing Ebola, I read a report claiming there hasn't been a new case since the end of August. That would have to help this situation somewhat

You have to question where his head was at, given that he'd done all the medical tests in Italy & was awaiting a visa to head down under.

How is he going to get on being half way around the world with his family in Nigeria?

I know the club are frustrated & I'm starting to wander whether they may look to reconsider this 1 year contractual arrangement.
