  1. Yes mate. And you're a Bayern fan because that is the part of Munchen you're from. It's funny you respond with believing your own narrative when that is exactly what you do, just like Trump in his debates, and don't even see the irony in your own dribble. Dam those people asking for Ranieri's sacking. It isn't the 6 months for me. Simply, it's him being bigger than the club and that should never be the case.
  2. I'll have a look on LinkedIn and see how many people are talking up their current employer. Then, I will look at the top companies of the world and read how they have the lowest staff retention rates in their industries. Finally I will believe every press release companies put out about themselves as the only true publication. Then on the back of that I will mortgage the house on the back of past history. Hopefully, it is the quality stock such as Kodak, or in football terms Nottingham Forrest. Blind obedience will never bring another title. Maybe, just maybe the complaints on the Facebooks and Twitters together with Bozza interview peed off the players and coaching staff enough to pull their finger out last weekend. I think that I understand your analogy - If a player says something bad about the team, then it's #popaout But if a player says something good about the team, then it's #popaganda. Am I right?!? Also, who are you referring to when you mention 'blind obedience'? It can't be the fans. We're the ones playing the money to watch the game, not the ones following orders on the pitch. So do you mean the players?!? Because when it comes to winning trophies, along with talented players, smart tactics, and lots of hard work, Blind Faith/Loyalty/Support from the fans (Active & Semi-Active) does win you titles! You're right on what gets you success. And at the same time prove my very same point, Nottingham Forrest. I wonder if after all these years anytime someone questions what is going on at the club, do some fans always point back to those 2 Champions League wins, black amd white photo unfortunately for them.
  3. so your the new coach of the wanderers i see , we should call you popeye because we can see straight thru you I'm the new coach because I make an arm chair guess just like anyone else. Popeye because you see straight through me? You do know what Popeye is known for? You make less sense then our transfer policy.

  5. Griffiths is paid by the same people who pay Popa. Obviously biased #alternativefacts #theyrecoming Lederer diverting money away from the team and funnelling it to the in-house propaganda department instead? Paying a player to feed us "fake news"? You might be on to something here... Who would of thought a player who had been released from a Hong Kong team with no other options would speak so highly of their current employer after they just started their new job. That settles it then. That aside, I think he is a good pick up.
  6. Nico won't be around next season for us. If it isn't any of the above mentioned, it'll be Melbourne City who can easily afford any of the above scenario, and a rumour has already begun.
  7. Don't know about Jumpei but this was done before with Rukavystsya who was presented as a regular signing but was on a marquee salary.
  8. Popa is loved on this forum by most, I may be one of the few hysterically whingers on here and now for neutrals Popa seems to be becoming a joke.
  9. You make so many assumptions mate and I don't expect you to remember all of my posts. How do you know I have not also communicated and responded to the club also? What makes you think I hate Popa, because I think he is no longer should be our head coach? I've been a fan of Popa since before he put those 2 penalties away against Olympic at Edensor Park all those years ago. Whether I like him or not, is not my point. He is no longer competent and his interview last night showed his arrogance is a bit issue which wasn't in him ag the beginning of Wanderers. You don't owe me an explanation but sure like to assume a lot. Just like Popa assuming the fans will always be in the stands regardless of result. Maybe he would be a bit different if the same pressure that is put on players is put on him and he would start performing again. So I can assume then that you communicated to the club that Popa is arrogant, that he is no longer competent, that he needs to start performing again, that you hate him, that players don't come to the club any longer because of him, that he is the reason why players are leaving the club? That these are not just your opinions, but that this is actually the truth? Well, good for you. You are right: plastic fans like me assume too much. We know nothing. Not like the Gold Star ones who actually know stuff. You also can't read, I don't hate Popa. I just think his position is a making of his own and needs to go. Welcome to come back later in his career. And yes, all my gripes I have communicated. Yes plastic fan who just came into football. Any true football supporter cringes at the sight that gold star. Stars are for clubs that win 10 domestic titles and countries that win the world cup. That star you like so much is a tradition that has been bastardised by sports fans.
  10. Don't bring logic onto this forum! Having said that, agree with btron3000 on a new signing being 'attacked'. Give him a chance first amd putting stats aside and how poor our recruitment has been, I think he will do just fine. Won't be Berisha or Fornaroli (or what the best club in Asia should sign), but will be a hell of a lot better than just about every striker we have ever signed before, definitely better than what we have up front now.

  12. You have good points that I respect but we just disagree. But seriously, I support the Wanderers and why would I hand back my membership. You clearly have shown by that comment you are not a Wanderers supporter but a Popovic supporter. No body is bigger than the club and if you would hand in your membership because of Arnie, you should have already by now with Janjetovic. Not supporting a club based on who is the head coach, you've just lost all value to any of your posts, just plastic mate. I'll be at the grounds even if Popa is there for the next 10 years.
  13. That was woeful, but we haven’t seen Popa go and fail yet so just comparing apples with apples. Arnold they complained, and fair to say he responded with a brilliant recruitment drive and results are showing. We haven’t had a striker all year and we get Griffiths in the window. Almost certain Popa would never be able to recruit as much quality, never. You sound like a big fan of Arnold's. For the record the last time we met, Arnold's team couldn't beat us - At Home With all their strikers (we were missing our main one) And with the help of the referee I don't think that Arnold's team is a bad one, but they have had the most supportive officals in A-League history. Week after week, the officials ignore their dirty tactics. They even ignore their handballs (and then award them goal kicks?!?) I think that Arnold is a better than average A-League coach, but I won't be judging him on the 'blessed' results of this season. And I certainly wouldn't take him over Popa. I can't stand the bloke but is getting results. You can't claim Arnold is crap because he drew 1 game with us? You forgeting rnd 1 or every other match, Popa has only ever got 1 up on him. FCB, first bad season yes was a result of his. We lost to a state league side before winning ACL. We lost our first 4 matches on the trot before going to Club World Cup. Then he cleared out the team so the only person with ACL effect actually Popa. My issue with Popa is he doesn't deserve all this unconditional support when he has none for anyone other than himself. Reward successful players, no. Reward arguably the best fans with a signing, no. Look after your staff around you, no. Mourinho is one of the best coaches in the world, but his similar pig headedness has had him moved on one way or another as soon as the results are not coming. Popa should be treated the exact way. Get the most out of him in a short space, then move him on just like our several squads.
  14. My bad, not 0.8% of matches but 1.6% of matches we will change how we setup. 2 times in 124, I stand corrected. He is twice the tactical genious I gave him credit for.
