  1. Just dropping in here to say congrats to Marko. You are everything this club needs. Pushing on through each hurdle and making a massive impact. Keep smiling bro
  2. It’d be a good opportunity for the new CEO to extend the olive branch
  3. It would be good for the new CEO to hold some forums to listen to fans and members
  4. I look forward to the coming off season and next season. Feels like a complete club rebuild could happen. Exciting times.
  5. People don’t have to be miserable all the time aye
  6. I’ve got the same feelings as our first ever A-League win
  7. Are you actually going to follow this up and find out the conclusion/outcome of this allegation? or will you just leave it open-ended so we can all speculate?
  8. Calm down Mack. The question I was replying to was focused on just the stalking allegations issue. I was pointing out nothing has come of it. don’t get me wrong, there are other elements of Rudan to be worried about too. But don’t confuse this matter. you also might need to experience what it’s like to be accused of something you didn’t do, before you might have more sympathy to this issue. you might also know something more that we don’t though? Remember we live in an age where men are usually guilty until proven innocent. careers can be killed off quite easily with a few allegations
  9. I get what you’re saying but it would appear Rudan has not been convicted of anything.
  10. I’m not across this issue at all. Can you please tell us what you are talking about? Has Rudan been convicted of stalking, abuse etc? Is this just allegations?
  11. So Lederer came all the way out to Blacktown training park on Tuesday only to get exposed to covids
  12. Piss funny. this video seems to have worked for the Smurfs 8 years ago too
  13. Remember that in most organisations the first rots from the head. We all simply imitate what our leader does. If Lederer is a ruthless, non-transparent dictator, then JT will just to the same, and then everyone under JT also. The sh1t flows down hill.
  14. Top notch ATB podcast just out covering all this: https://www.aroundthebloc.com.au/atbx-1006-what-is-going-on-at-the-club/
  15. I have heard a few people say that Aussie players are dumb and therefore you need an Aussie to coach them because they understand how to get the best from them. Add to that, employ a westie coach and you in theory can hit the mark even closer.
  16. I remember seeing Rudan with his kids many times at WSW games at the old Parra stadium sitting in the southern stand. He was a fan of this club well before pursuing a coaching career. He understands the mentality of western Sydney people
  17. FYI The first job John Tsatsimas had with WSW was General Manager Football Operations. Then he later became CEO to replace Lyall Gorman. this Gavin Costello guy is the current General Manager Football Operations.
  18. Fully agree. look back to the early fan forums held when establishing the club in 2012 and its is a fact that the fans clearly defined the identity of the club and what we desired. The first seasons were a reflection of that vision and were full of success. It was amazing. for those interested I wrote a history on the early days of the club, to capture what it was like forming up the club from scratch. See link below: http://www.westsydneyfootball.com/sitefiles/fch/football_comes_home.pdf Much food for thought
  19. This all reminds me of when the Smurf fans rebelled and sought significant changes to their club a few years ago when Farina was in charge. This was on the back of WSW embarrassing them for a couple of years. As a result, changes were made and this ultimately lead to the Smurfs breeding success after success. it really feels like WSW need to go back and consider what made them a success in the first few years and replicate that. For example we employed a rookie coach and western Sydney boy in our debut season and we ended up topping the table. We had a certain culture amongst the players and and in the stands. CEO was Lyall Gorman who got stuff done and listened to the fanbase. I’m not sure if JT simply rode on Lyall’s success after Lyall left or if he made success of his own doing. Perhaps not, and that is a problem which needs fixing if true. Perhaps JT out then.
  20. This article from 2 years ago. Nothing seems to have been fixed with the toxic culture: https://www.sbs.com.au/topics/sport/football/article/2020/01/20/babbels-exit-tip-iceberg-imploding-wanderers
  21. I thought the season start wasn’t going to be until early 2022?
