    Soooooo..... Called off?

    When is it being replayed?

There is a window in February where there a split round.

At least New Zealand games are called off for good reasons like an earthquake. Our got called off due to poor management or was it deliberate. I fewl a conspiracy theory starting

Lol we should play at Alliance ...how funny would it be to get a bigger crowd than the Smurfs

Can't be done. They have a double-header on Saturday with the W-League (missing the selected Matildas) against Melb City followed by the game against the Jets (Draw pls)

    I couldn't agree more.

The lack of information is quite bizarre. The short notice even more so.

    Did you read this

The NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers match scheduled for Saturday 18 November against Wellington Phoenix has today been postponed due to pitch condition at Spotless Stadium.

The NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers match scheduled for Saturday 18 November against Wellington Phoenix has today been postponed due to pitch condition at Spotless Stadium.

The grass surface at Spotless Stadium is presently going through a necessary seasonal transition from Rye (Winter) grass which has been sprayed out as per the annual schedule, to Couch (Summer) grass.

This is an essential transition phase in multi-purpose sporting stadiums.

Some sections of the Spotless Stadium surface have not regenerated as hoped due to recent cooler weather and as a result the surface when this week inspected by club officials including CEO John Tsatsimas and Josep Gombau and Football Federation Australia officials and referees in the lead up to this weekend’s game against Wellington Phoenix the pitch was considered not suitable for play.

An announcement on the confirmed details of this re-scheduled fixture will be made at a later time.

Wanderers CEO John Tsatsimas after inspecting the pitch agreed that the surface was not suitable to host a Hyundai A-League match.

“While this is disappointing for our members and fans, the pitch condition is not what is required for a Hyundai  A-League match and we cannot risk our players when the integrity of the surface is in question,” said Tsatsimas.

“While best endeavours by the excellent staff at Spotless Stadium were made to get the pitch to playing quality, unfortunately we have had to make the mutual decision to postpone this match for the safety of our players and quality of the performance of our team.”

Someone tell me Tiger Airways are now managing our games. Last minute cancellations & shite you're stupid believe us excuses. What kind of pitch did the World Cup Qualifier in Honduras get played on. AdelaideWanderer just lost his flight money and of course JT couldn't find a suitable 15k stadium west of Anzac Parade. Logistical Nightmare he said. Really. Unanticipated Seasonal Transition of Rye Grass. Well blow my green thumb over. The Nursery Rhymes they try and sell us. You're parents were farming peasants JT and you can't grow grass in 4 weeks.

    • Interesting sequence of events that probably doesn't happen very often.
    • Best shown by a chance Toure had when an Indonesian player had fallen over, he had a simple ball about 10 meters that would have put one of our attackers clean through for a one on one. He over-hit it and ruined the chance. Also falling for the same old Asian team diving & time wasting, by giving away stupid fouls to let them fall over and sit on the ground for minutes. 11 minutes stoppage time is probably half what it deserved.
    • Yet again, a failure of pace and power football over technically skilled football in on display in the Olyroos vs Indonesia.  We need to develop skills over pace at all levels
