  • Western Sydney Wanderers reveal Away Kit

    mack

The final big reveal at today's press conference was the Western Sydney Wanderers away kit.

The kit was revealed by Tarek Elrich as well as being modelled by Aaron Mooy. It is identical in design to the home kit, while the colours have changed.

Instead of Red/Black hoops, white shorts and black socks, the away kit is White/Red hoops, black shorts and white socks.

wouldnt have been my selection (hoops) or white and red for the away, but theres no denying they are class kits :xnod:

The more I see that away kit the more I like it.

Agreed, every time I looked at it, it grows on me a bit more, but I would've had white shorts. But its nice.

the away kit is rubbish Nike and the FFA must of had sleepless nights in designing the kit. And the colour combo no good.

People need to stop complaining about the kits. Most clubs start organising next seasons kits in January, it is such a tough time schedule, like unbelievable. We have a team in the A-League and we have a team on the pitch, that's all that matters right now.

IMO needed to be more contrasting or your non-primary colour (To avoid big clashed with Adelaide and Heart). Good Kit otherwise. Don't see why anyone would complain.

no ones really complaining beyond giving their opinion of a kit that was just released today, i'd be worried if people werent doing that

Love the home kit... Absolutely hate the away kit. Might as well put a dragons logo on it!! White shirt with black n red trim would be much better

That's funny, I'm a lifelong Dragons fan and it never hit me as being similar to them.

For me Dragons = Big Red V.

Any other design isn't truly the dragons.

the away kit looks pretty good. i hope our away kits are flexible each season and not be like melbourne heart who stick with the same boring satch over 3 seasons and 3 different manufacturers. would like to see fans given the chance to design an away kit each season

i rekon if we are to have a 3rd kit should move away from the red black and white colour schemes. A 3rd kit colours is meant to be different and shouldnt clash with the other teams in the a-league. why not try a Navy and Lime colour scheme? we should allow our clubs to experiment with a variety of colours for our 3rd kit Edited by heyitsrobbie

Personally I think we've got enough colours associated with our club (3) and shouldn't deviate from those

    • The guy is a professional footballer, even playing on a different side to his preferred, the concept of defending doesn’t change. He hardly looked like he was giving it a go. I think all too often we can be so lenient on mistakes made by players across the league. Let’s not forget that they are professionals, they get paid (a bloody decent amount) and should have the skillset required to atleast be able to do a job in a different to preferred position. It’s not like all age, where one week they are banging then in as a striker and then next they’ve got the gloves on as the regular keeper is away with the missus.
    • More like Neverlosin' the way they're going.
    • If we give City 25% possession we'll get double figures against us.
