aside from Mooy, has been our only spark in attack during all pre-season matches.

Hopefully he gets a good crack at the first team.

i agree, he is a standout player!! give him a couple matches to see if he can become confident in the A-league, and if he does he can even become the best player we will have

I cracked a hat-trick on Fifa 13 with Kwabena last night. He has so much acceleration in this game!

I really hope one match he gets to play up front, with the tactics changing from long bombs to having Ono and Mooy trying to get him in behind.

For the time he was on last night, he worried their defence.

I am peeved that I didn't record his go with the RBB. That was great.

for all hersi's skill and effort (and winning the peno), he was getting in behind to the byline where hersi wasn't - that pace is a nice weapon to have once hersi's run his legs off.

Great exciting player......love watching a young kid with blinding pace have the confidence to just take the defence on......might not always work out but damn its good to watch

wonder what his speed over 100m would be

HIs megaphone chant last night was the best! My phone ran out of battery and storage right when he started it, im sure someone recorded it and can upload here. would love to see it again!

Hersi cuts inside most of the time. Against Hoffman (he might be a **** striker, but he still actually is a striker and not a left back right?) he probably should have been instructed to just burn the guy down the touchline. Kubi just did what he normally does on the wing which is go outside with his pace.

Yep. Other thing I noticed which was pleasing was that when Kubi did get there he managed to out-muscle and get around his marker too.

Kubi needs to watch how Hersi plays. Hopefully Hersi can be a mentor for him. All Kubi needs his more variation in his play, and he will start to cause more problems for other teams.

Kubi was solid in the preseason... Hes solid now... When he comes up against decent defenders he can get manhandled a bit but keep in mind hes still a kid, with time & minutes comes discipline & strength training lol

Kwabena is what 20? 21? Holger won't be interested until he is another 10 years older or does a Splinters and goes to every numpty league on the planet and not get a run

Impressed me during preseason but he struggles and I think gets intimidated by good defenders and finds it hard to beat them with pace or skill. Has hard shoes to fill in with the upcoming Grand Final but hopefully keeps his composure and has the guts to beat defenders and also and more importantly presses well.

one advantage that he has tomorrow is that, unlike hersi, he wont be targeted and shutdown by defenders,

mariners will go for ono and bridge before appiah-kubi, so hopefully this can create some space for him to use his pace.

then open up for ono to weave his magic

I have a bad feeling Rose will own him all game. I hope I'm wrong.

i have a feeling he will have his best game tonight

Let's hope. He hasn't really impressed me so far this season.

He is still young and has plenty of room for improvement though ;)

agreed he has been exciting but not delivered as of yet, plenty of potential and has been a good player just not as much as i expected

Wow. He saved THAT performance for the Final! Great game by the lad. Most confident he has ever looked on the ball, actually tried to use his pace to get past Grandpa Rose a number of times. Looked very threatening and strong on the ball. Well done Kwabs. MOTM.

Could learn a bit from Hersi..

Hope we keep him though massive room for improvement.

He needs to lift more. Eat some protein bars. I think Popa will get even more out of him next year.

Going forward he was good. Needs more end product and more defensive work for the way we played this season.
