Cole was treated like **** by ESFC fans. Yeah he was average last night but he still pulled on our shirt and did his best. He needs to be supported, has been great for us.

I only want to associate with people who post comments like this, this is the mark of a true fan.

Anyone who is putting **** on Cole has forgotten how good he was in the return leg against GE where he had Appiah in front of him not giving any help and having to mark Elkeson and pretty much closed him off and played his heart out! Every player has a bad game, when your two timed by tall blokes such as Duke & Simon - anyone would struggle. Been one of the shining players for me in recent months.

forgot about that. I remember thinking 'how the hell is he keeping this guy who's faster and technically way better out?' Pure effort and heart.

Shannon gives all he's got every time and has given us some of our best moments...free-kick against esfc, acl goals...

He's not the greatest player in the world but being a football fan is also about supporting players who you're proud to have represent your club, and he's one of them.

So.. out for a while with the broken collarbone. I would never wish that on anyone ...but it's a good excuse to give other players chances in the positions he usually takes up.

Yep, Nick Ward apparently.

I think he might be lucky to appear off the bench, think those that have been with the team for most of S3 will be ahead of him in the pecking order.

Where is he?

Has anyone heard of the whereabouts of this man?

Is he still contracted to our club or is he on a deserted Qld Island somewhere sipping Long Island Teas with Jerome Polenz discussing the fine art of somersaults with a broken wrist?

I spoke with him briefly before a home match a few weeks ago. At that time he was just back in full training and available for selection but acknowledged how hard it would be to displace anyone because the team was playing so well.

#nevilleout

hahah jokes, but gee couldn't we use someone who can hit a deadball at least half decently. Bloody Dimas hasn't really been doing the business.

Cole hasn't ever really been a first choice player, so it doesn't shock me that while the team is winning that he'd not be getting the nod over Neville especially coming back from injury.

Will play vs Perth. Neville on 4 yellows, marking FBK...

Interesting observation. Let's see if it comes to fruition.

Law of averages... i hope he cops a yellow if it means stopping them scoring ;)

I think we'll get a lot of reserves against Perth, as is tradition, considering we have a home game on the Thursday after.
