I think our Wanderers will put up an amazing performance , and that we have a solid chance to win this game and make ourselves real contenders for the coming games.

I can feel a win. Thus far we havnt been bullied off the park when playing away. I think being a young team the away games come with less pressure on the boys.

2-0 win for us!

Same team lineup, except put Cole on for D'puzzo. I believe we wont loose much defensively with Cole at all and he will add another dimension in attack, perfect player to complimemt for Bridge to add width and overlap.

Also Kubi in for Kresinger.

Pedantic request - Can we please show away games like this as Perth Glory vs Western Sydney Wanderers [ie WSW 2nd], with the team logos in the same order?

HAHA is Pup the only one making the trip there?

i'm going for the game against the glory on December 27. not this one

also - this is the type of game we need Dino to play.

Perth are physical, strong, and someone like Dino either starting ot coming off the bench to give us a bit of grunt will be good.

i can see Kubi, Hersi, Gibbs struggling with the physical way the Glory play

watched kubi play against manly (who is the most physical team in the NSWPL)

struggled alot and was shrugged off the ball alot

but kresinger going forward hmmm ok he is a good physical player but shite upfront

I dont think anyone should try out muscle Perth, stick to our game plan. And presure them as we did roar.

The perfect game for Kresinger at the moment is a youth league game to earm his spot. His physicality will be pointless if hes not up to speed with the game and trailing his own markers.

I'm feelin ya deedee, agree on your thoughts re Cole also, he added a more direct aggressive dimension to our attack that we badly needed

Dino in Youth league? Isn't he heaps old?

You're allowed 4 over age players so anyone who isn't going to play for the first team can play there to stay sharp.

Yep - last week's youth team featured Tarek Elrich and Labinot Haliti. (Victory for example also had Isaka Cernak; Adelaide had Caravella and Barbiero, etc)

I'll see what I can do. *grumbles, knowing it'll probably take an hour or two to change*

Isn't it as simple as "edit article...ctrl-x...ctrl-v...save" ??

No. The back end database is what creates the automatic threads. It's all linked into the match database. While looking at a database entry shows all the details, there are a number of additional lines that aren't displayed that only exist for use in these threads.

I made the changes and you can see some of the result (at the top it has Perth Glory vs Western Sydney Wanderers, before it was switched).

The logos will be from the next match entry.
