This will be my first game that i can call myself a fully fledged Wanderer, brought the kit today (my god its magnificent), incredibly pumped to get behind the boys. Win or lose, after being somewhat disconnected from Australian football i know i've found a footballing home. Come on you Wanderers!

Prediction: 3-1 Wanderers!

Welcome Mate,

Away games mean so much to the team when we get supportrs in numbers. This will be my first away game and my first time shoulder to shoulder with the RBB and travelling fans. We will bring 10 with us who are members in teh red section so we are bloody pumped and ready to learn the songs we hear each week.

Some of you know me from the fans forums so come say g'day!

Right up to the Hail Hail LOL. I got a wee bit o sick in ma mooth.

WATP!!

But seriously the whole Wanderers approach and the sense of bonding accross our supporters after such a short time is brilliant.

The great part is i dont really see how our fanbase will drop from here. Will grow and grow and thats exciting especially at Wanderland. The atmosphere is great.

URGENT NOTICE TO ALL FANS!

After a half an hour discussion with the head of security for the SCG/SFS trust, we had to come to some form of agreement about getting drums, megaphones in etc.

Unfortunately, the SCG trust rules are **** gay which only alow 1 drum and 1 megaphone in to ANY sporting event (even the cove have to follow these rules).

Initially, they wanted me to pre set the tifo, flags etc..but after chucking a tantrum this is what we got:

1) 2 megaphones

2) 1 drum

3) All people with flags/banners that have been registered with myself must accompany me to see security at 6.30pm on game day. If you decide to bring your own flag/banner that is bigger than 1m x 1m...you will not be allowed to bring it in.

4) I have agreed to send them a photo of the TIFO on the morning of the game so they can OK, but I have a verbal assurance that it will be fine. We can set it up as we walk in and enter out seats

Any other dramas..please PM me

As Usual, anything East sydney is joke, the SFS is a joke, their team is a pathetic joke....

1 Drum & 2 megaphones? So be it, let them watch how goddamn loud we can be !

Shoulder To Shoulder

Link to comment

Yeah it's more of a reason for us to sing even louder. We will put the cove to shame (even though they already have been put to shame)

Link to comment

yeah unfortunately..even the cove guys will agree with us about the SFS/SCG rules being a joke.

The perfect example the security gave me was that they had to tell the Sri Lankan cricket fans...that they cant bring all the trumpets, saxaphones and drums to the upcoming cricket games.

The reason being for these across the board rules? cause the **** neighbours complain.

SORRY - we better keep the chanting down right in case Aunty Ruth around the corner wakes up

Link to comment

This is just pathetic. They say they want to bring a football atmosphere yet they **** all over it and say we're not allowed to bring instruments to disturb the public. Eff that! They host major gigs and they don't complain about the loud drums or guitars that are played there. Hypocrites.

It's like the flight paths and Luna park. You don't like noise don't move next to a stadium.

That said I have seen more than one drum at SFS before. But that was few years ago.

Link to comment

ESFC paid a few drummers to welcome juninho a few years back. LOL

How the **** then did the Urawa fans manage to get all their stuff in when they came for the ACL game? Jebus
