Would be silly to select your reserve GK and an untested on in the A-League in such a big game.

After watching McClenahan and Griffiths last week, Bosschart on crutches would be better!!

To think they won't even have Griffiths! So it'll be McClenahan and Ryall. Can anyone give some insight on Ryall? I'm not familiar with the guy unfortunately.

Regardless of his quality, his partner is not a CB, and mixing up your back pairing so frequently has got to be a good sign for us.

seb ryall well a few years back he banged a 13 year old........ nuff said

**** pedo

He was 15 or 16 at the time, so it's not that big a deal. And he didn't bang her, it was oral! He's a decent player, messed around by the previous coach, like so many of SFC's players.

Thanks for pointing this out George. I was just about to do this myself until I read your post. They were both kids at the time and I don't think he should even have been charged. Seb Ryall's no pedo! Let's not joke about pedo stuff!

A mate of mine who knows a few insiders jusr told me that the smurfs have dropped Necevski and thier reserve keeper (forgot his name) is starting.

Big risk if true hes very young.

One of them websites who post on twitter, 4 - 4 - 2 or something, had Necevski as their custodian of the week, despite conceeding 3 goals against Newcastle.

The articles author, must have been watching the game through blue rinse glasses. :nono:

Seems he author couldn't have watched the Radelaide game on Friday night where both keepers excelled.

The punters that questioned the assessment were 100% correct and it seems the ESFC coach may agree.

IMO only Thomas from MV put in a worst performance than Necevski last week.

Decent half of football. You can really feel the atmosphere coming through the TV. I can hear the Sydney FC fans alot more than the RBB though.

Good game. Thought bridge and mooy were strong. We deserved the win I think, even with a penalty.

Once again, from the Sydney section, and someone who is no longer involved with cove active support, congratulations on a great home end culture. Looked great from where I was sitting in the Sydney section.

A diving italian did the damage in the end, who would have thought!

The last time ADP played for a club that had the referees in their pocket they got relegated for match fixing... Just saying...

ADP pretty much horizontal before there was any contact, yes.

As soon as he went into the box at that stage of the game he was either going to shoot or hit the deck.

There was still contact. But i still need to review footage closer to confirm. From where i was though, seemed clear cut

Contact alone doesn't equal a foul (although sometimes you couldn't tell the way that game was refereed).

As above.

A shame such a great player needs to resort to that. I'm of Italian heritage and felt a bit embarrassed for him.

Congratulations WSW your home end looked good from the cove I was surprised how many WSW shirts were in the crowd. You need to get another striker pretty quick. ADP is too clever you knew when he had 3 players around him there was going to be one outcome. Wonder how many of you're fans willl comeback most wore the colours so that is a good sign.

There was contact for the "foul" on Patricio Perez a few years ago. Didn't stop him being banned for 2 weeks and being labeled a diving cheat. There wasn't much difference in terms of contact tonight. As mentioned, contact does not automatically = foul.

Regardless of what anyone will say about ADPs dive.. if we don't score goals we wont be winning anything.

Unfortunately, 3 games in and no goals... we really need to fix this...

Not sure why popa is persisting with Dino & Bridge

It was not only the diving with Del Piero but also the gamesmanship was clear to see. Every time the ball went out, he picked it up knowing full well that he was not going to take the throw. All within the rules, I know, but disappointing I must say.

To be quite frank, if I had the choice between Mooy and Del Piero based on the first 3 games of the A League alone, Mooy comes out ahead in most departments. The difference is that Del Piero has changed things in two of his matches, one of which won them a penalty. Ironically, it was Mooy's leg which provided the hurdle that Del Piero was looking for. I said as much to my kids as soon as he got in the box. It was sooooooo bloody obvious what he looking for.

Everything will fall into place, both on and off the field.

How do I know? Because, this is first time I have felt the way I do at matches since Sydney United were in the NSL, and I am not alone.

Yeah it's not the defence I'm really worried about. Conceding two goals in three games (one on the break and one from a penalty) isn't too bad. Just need to find someone with their shooting boots on.

You cannot be serious claiming that was a dive. It's the most sour reaction imaginable to being cleanly beaten. The footwork of Del Piero was too good and Mooy just stuck a leg out there in frustration. Even a Melbourne Victory fan, who hates Sydney FC more than you can ever imagine to, admitted as much to me.

The voice of reason in a mind-numbingly reasonless place.

I always get a laugh when I read this. Thanks, WP.

I guess irony is not your strong point.
