Hersi ( Suspended), Mooy ( Injured) and Polenz( injured 4-6 weeks) all out this week..

 

Gonna be closer than we think.. I belive ONO will play , however he is still touch and go

Did you read the bit at the end of this article about the Cove's banner at their Melbourne game carrying a message that was rude to people with a disability??   What a contrast to the RBB Community Program to buy football tickets for disadvantaged people in Western Sydney.   So which group has common decency, respect, tolerance and compassion???   The antics of the Cove never cease to amaze me.

Do we know if the Cove has a tifo for this game??  Do they have any banners approved ???

Also i think startin with Kabbs is a great idea. He's sort of guy who will respond well in the big atmosphere on Saturday. Could be an unlikely hero... When does the team get announced anyway?

I would prefer Dino or Joey lead the line and would swap Appiah for Haliti on the wing.

I am touch and go with Elrich starting. Cole on the bench gives you more options in filling in as LB or RB, and in midfield.

Dino seems to play better when he comes on in the second half. Haliti's got some good finishing which we will need to hit Sydney hard early in the match and then sit deep and maintain the lead.

 

 

I had to go and have a look for myself today at the Parra Town Hall. I just stared at it for about an hour. I'm sure passers by thought I was just another junky which frequents there staring into space.

true and that is annoying its always the home team first and the media will have a field day but lets be honest no matter what happens, if all wsw and esfc fans are all holding hands in the street singing together(99% sure that wont happen) they would manage to make it into a massive brawl

Yeah i worry that fairytales rarely come true................. but not never. If ever there's a team who will actualyl get the fairytale, surely its the Wanderers! I cant even imagine the scene at full-time should we be in the lead!!! Equally, i cannot imagine the scene at full-time should we NOT be in the lead.

the differences in culture is massive between the 2 clubs

i doubt many people would agree with me but i would like to see Reece Caira play from what little we have seen of him he seems like a good player and he will be very hungry

and i bet the cove have a tifo but it will most likely be pathetic like most of the stuff they do

I think appiah of the bench running at tired defenders and Elrich to start for Polenz for the reason you said.

Hope Cole is up for it. Has the talent, but was has been caught out a few times in that defensive position. Appiah needs to chase back as well - or our right could be exposed. 

This is where alot of our thrust comes from as well.

I think appiah of the bench running at tired defenders and Elrich to start for Polenz for the reason you said.

This will be a really important aspect of the game. I have noticed in the last few ESFC games I have seen, they really do slow down towards the end of matches. Appiah could run riot against some tired defenders.

Such is the paranoia in the cove that I'm sure they will be getting their shots before journeying west of Strathfield
