    Phoenix Pay The Penalty

Note 1: This win was the 9th in a row for Western Sydney, breaking the all-time A-League record previously held by Melbourne Victory. It equals the record of 9 games during the National Soccer League, held by three teams.
Note 2: Mark Bridge scored his 39th goal in the A-League, it pushed him into outright 5th on the all-time A-League goal scoring ranking.
Note 3: The Red & Black Bloc were involved in a silent protest for the first 20 minutes of the match. The protest was aimed at unjust bans handed out to 20 supporters by Football Federation Australia and their hired security firm Hatamoto.

I Hate to say it BUT i hope ESFC will beat Borinators on Saturday Night.

& if we beat Wello we have 1 foot into ASIA.

This pretty much sums it up....

All of us willing we can be 90mins from the premiers plate at the derby....

Lets just win 4 from 4... It can be done

This is make or break for our boys, from now on every game is a big game. we must keep strong both on the field and on the stands. also, since all ''online tickets'' have been sold out for future games,'for the active supporters area. i will still make my way extra early to parramata stadium to try get in. because everyperson who is priviledged enough to be inside that stadium has to give it their all supporting our club, with the same passion we want our boys to play on sunday, for us to get the results we so desperately want, because the ones that jump and scream the 90 minutes, are the ones who live football with a passion and make our support stand out from the rest. big ups to all the boys in the RBB and the northgate boys for the passion shown up in gosford ay, this is football, we are football.

Don't forget that the guy who was arguably their best on field last week, Stein Huysegems, is out with a suspension. It could be a bogey game sure but honestly...if we can't grab the Nix and bend them over for some old fashioned chilli up the date work then the Wanderers are not the club we have been watching this season.

Wonder what the odds on a Dino hat trick are?

My tip is 2-0. Ono from the spot and Bridge later on. Nothing to happen in the first half as they adjust to the ruined pitch by the league. Eels are home on Sat night?

Not only are the eels at home Saturday there are junior and reserve games on before the main one!

GRRRR!!! Then they have their stupid advertising markings all over the field. I understand the normal metre marks and actually markings for the playing field but those ads are hideous! It looks terrible on TV and is just plain ugly. That aside I assume the pitch will be ruined by Sunday morning, hopefully we don't have rain Saturday night.

Now that league has started we'll probably find all our signage has been taken down too :(

Yeah true that, since the Eels are playing on Sat they "Welcome to Wanderland" signs will be down, but hopefully back up for Sunday.

1-0 only I reckon. That's been the trend, gearing up for finals? Or "cup" football if you prefer.

A lot of people talking about the pressure of being on top. But I actually think it's come at a perfect time. We have this really solid run of form, a fantastic defence that is best in the league and we're playing a bottom team at home. Our confidence should be high, and with only a few games to go, we haven't been under any pressure of being in front yet. This may be a new test for us, but we just beat both of the teams who were closest to us in the table away from home. I don't think we're going to be the choking type.

Comfortable win for me, 4-1.
