We have the advantage that we don't need to worry about anyone else or rely on any favours from anyone. Win and we get second...that simples.

Juric to give us second place with a couple of goals :good:

The week off will be huge with an ACL game still to be played.

Hopefully our travelling supporters can push them over the line - how many people are expected to make the trip at this point?

the away trip thread calculates it to be 1800 or so based on what bays are sold out. Thats of course assuming that a sold out bay actually has all its seats sold and they aren't under selling for crowd control reasons.

Gonna be huge.

I'm taking the family down. With the start of school holidays we were able to make a week of it, should be good.

The RBB flogfest comes down to Melbourne!

Got an exclusive snap of some of the RBB lads and lasses in their hotel rooms:

Wouldn't want to mess with these *****  laugh.png

**** i hope we smash them.

I am unsure where they found this photo. This looks like no one in the RBB LOL

The only real thing at stake here is to get second place for a guaranteed spot in next season's ACL. It would also underline the great job Popa has done these last two years. Roar are deserved A-League Champions this season, as we were last season. The Finals are just an exercise in bullshit. The fact that a team as bad as Sydney could end up A-League "Champions" is testament to that.

We have to approach this game like a final. "We" being the club, the team, and the supporters. This match is almost as important as the trip to Newcastle last year. ACL qualification, one week break which can be put to good use for Ulsan, a semi final at home, and a chance of hosting the GF if the Roar was to bomb out - this is a massive game. Never mind about the chanting non-contest with Heart or Kewell's retirement. We have to win this match.

Juric needs to start and play 60-75 minutes then bring on Santa who has been wasteful lately and looks like the abbbas saga might have had a toll on him.

We got this game despite City wanting to win it for Kewel. 2-0

I predict Harry's career will end in injury..... I can already imagine him waving goodbye while being stretchered off to applause, seems like the most fitting tribute.

Nothing against the guy he's just made of glass

Not that our game will be a dead rubber, but all games in the final round should be played simultaneously to keep it more exciting for all fans. I reckon every game should kick off on Sunday at 4 or 5pm (which will also allow people to attend their own or their kids' Saturday sports).

We will win 6-1.

It is known

I dead set just woke up from a nightmare... playing last game of season needing to win to keep second, and lost 6-1. To Newcastle.
