Getting fed up with the lack of impact from Aaron Mooy. Not covering the central channels well enough, showing no accuracy in his shots outside the box and hardly giving credence he is a number 10 who will create passages of play to score goals.

We miss La Rocca and Poljak desperately

Now, now Manfred, haven't you been listening to Harper, only Melbourne are missing players.

Mooy and Bridge shitting me to tears as much as Saturday.

I'm over watching matches at home alone too.

Done it twice, Brisbane & these grubs.

......  and same score too    :xmad:

3 losses this year all 3-1.

Still yet to score more than 2 goals in a game this year.

Beauchamp and NTS combination has lost its aura from last year probably due to lack of game time.

I'm gutted.

Very disappointing performance

Dont blame Popa's rotation but today has shown what we really lack in the squad

is there troubles with hersi wanting more money, ono wanting out, mooy sooking?

40 degree heat, team heavily rotated with no spira, poljak, la rocca...

Lets hope we get the combination of Larocca and Poljak back on the pitch as soon as possible.  Without them our back four get seriously over exposed.

Maybe im pissed off and this is why im raging at the moment? maybe my rant is justified?

But what the FARKING HELL is Jason Trifiro doing? very unimpressed with his performance today.

/Rantend

He just not quite good enough. Then again he had plenty of mates out there tonight.

D'Apuzzo giving people 50m of space...
Trifiro unable to pass or take touches without losing it
Bridge invisible
Santalab invisible
Beauchamp unable to pass and dreadfully slow
NTS unwilling to take a man down after being stood up and embarrassed
Mooy unable to find a pass but after having to drop back to get the damn ball off Beauchamp all the time and having to cover for Trifiro doing jack **** defensively its slightly forgivable
Hersi looked like he didn't even wanna be there until that cross

Juric provided some ******* fight at least but needs to control himself

Heffernan did ok in an unfamiliar position

Appiah and Minniecon showed some promise but no end product and not enough involvement.

15+ corners and only 1 of those resulted in a shot on target....weaksauce.

Hopefully we maul Adelaide so I can feel better.

Popa needs to add a bit of quality upfront, the way how we have played over the last month, we are going to struggle in the ACL in front of the goal

In defence of D'Apuzzo, when your the last defender at halfway one on one with the attacker, you dont go up and make a challange because you risk taking him out and getting sent off.

More concerned with the space he kept giving Kosta.

we had chances in the 1st half to win it.

in the end we could have been blown away but covic kept us in it.

our game didnt suit the conditions, and some players melted under the strain.

will be interested to see how everyone recovers for adelaide.

on a side note - not a fan of this drinks break stuff if the stoppage time isnt going to be counted properly.

no way there was only 6 minutes added on in the 1st half.

They mauled us again like in the pre season with the quick transitional counter. Plus turning our defenders inside. Brisbane did the same. If you dont play Spira don't play Heffernan.

We always knew we would have these games with the depth of the squad we have, In all the time I've sat and read this forum I've never heard so many angry comments about our own?

Someone is one sentence away from saying "Popa Out"

Maybe cause I listened on ABC and there is no emotion in either commentator I don't feel the loss as bad as If I watched it live or on Fox?

but we regroup and move on.

Trying to figure out how my 3, 2, 1 is going to go...

Heffernan was solid all game and probably had the best shot at goal and a good attempt at an Ono-esque lob, really. Minniecon had this willingness to take players on, so he'll probably feature. Mooy... hit and miss. Trifiro, even more hit and miss (but more miss). Appiah-Kubi invisible, Bridge not really doing much, Santalab did well to get some shots on target...

hmm

Game was disappointing, I thought we might get a draw before the game but... yeah. I've said this for a few games now, we -really- need to start figuring out how to take our chances.

Everyone needs to take a deep breath.

We are second still second on the table, we had an under strength team, it was hot, they played well.

I'd say its just emotion and not used to seeing our boys play so poorly.

We trust all will be OK but also recognise that in some key positions the personnel lacks the quality we desire.
