It's a short turn around to the New Years Day game and coming off a Monday game so I'm not surprised to hear a few changes. The Victory are missing a few too. It should be a great game.

Hmmm popa trusted but are we saving our big guns for an in form phoenix??

Not saving them for the Phoenix, minimising their risk of injury because they played on Monday night

Are Juric n Ono on the bench?

Are Juric n Ono on the bench?

Ok just saw they're out og the squad, great! Not!!!

in popa we trust

but wtf

Probably just Popa hedging his bets. Its much easier for us to get 3 points at home with a fresh tram against phoenix rather than having them back up for 2 or 3 games

This is a big chance for Fofanah. If we're chasing the game, surely he'd come on over Heff. So excited for the kid!!

Is this the 14 or 15 year old young African? I think I saw play some minutes in the trial against Bankstown City and he looked good.

I think so, he was in the match day program last game and he's trialled with Manchester City

Just had a squizz on Victorys forum , they seem to think we are a " park the bus " team! Lol bunch of wankers. They can't handle the fact that they're not the shining lights of the A - League anymore. We need this win to stick it to these southerners

Have you seen our lineup... Not saying we will but that's a team set up to park the bus and hit on the break if I ever saw it

People still don't understand Popas strategy this season in terms of player management? Where have you been?

3 games a week will be the norm pretty much from here on in so we should get used to seeing changes like this. Agree that we are set up to counter, but is there anyone better to counter against than slow ****s like leijer and contreras?

People get confused between teams that are defensively strong, and teams that park the bus.

Just because you are strong defensively and are good on the counter doesn't mean that you park the bus.

Teams park the bus because they are crap, and set out to get a draw
