Pre-season in any code world wide is no indicator of the standard possible for any given team..**** man, this is all nothing come game 1 in Bluetongue...

I am loving this game. No Troisi as well.

Pain having a day out.

Hey.. no PAX discussion here buddy...nothing to see.

Seriously though, the team Victory have on paper with a tear under young fellas belts they have a lot to look forward to. This game is a good measure for WSW to see what top teams level will be this year.

Take your pick Pain,Barbarouses, Nichols.

We are getting run over by these 3

Coe-Vic. Topor has played junior rep football for Australia... ignoring his 2 caps for Australia. D'Apuzzo has played for 4 clubs in his career and 2 A-League clubs, which makes him a 'journeyman'.

Right now it's not looking good, however need I mention the mantra re 2-0 leads.

And the Tasmanian commentators obviously find the idea of non-Anglos visiting their island to play something that actually means something beyond the Bass Stait is befuddling their 'my father is my mum's brother' minds...

It seems like Ange now has the players he wants at the club; and he's had all last season to enforce his philosophy on the squad. I'll be shocked if they aren't top 2 this year, barring injuries.

I know we shouldn't complain given we actually have some form of media coverage of this pre-season game, and not have to rely on the club's almost non-existent Twitter/FB updates.

However, these commentators are seriously shitting me.

On-topic: Quite concerned about midfield being bossed around. Sounds like Ange has figured out an effective way to pressure us, sounds like Juric has barely had a sniff of the ball. Perhaps Mooy on for La Rocca 2nd half?

Can't believe you guys are attacking victory, if we were winning 2-0, you guys would be doin same or even worse, relax, everyone already knew victory would be a great team this year, especially with their youngsters!

I would rather lose a friendly to victory than a league game to them...

Take it easy, we can't win them all!

I can't stress enough how little pre-season means.

Yeah, I know pre season means very little but still, your squad seems like an incredibly strong one even without Troisi. Should be very interesting to see where you guys end up this year. My guess is in the top 3 alongside the Wanderers :D

does this commentator sound biased?

No...more like one-eyed idiots with no freaking idea and more familiar with Victorian aerial ping-pong

Nah.. Peter Newlinds is from Sydney and his specialty was Rugby League.  He is hopeless when he commentates on Aerial ping pong as well.
