Covic you lucky bastard :fool:  can't run out and bodycheck a guy like that. Thank god it happened at the very end, if it happened even a few minutes earlier he's gone straight red.

It happened after the final whistle.

So did Griffos red card :)

A red card can be issued any time up until the referee leaves the pitch.

I didn't watch the game live, I listened to it on ABC grandstand which is always good value.

Sometimes I feel like I live in the Bob Dyer era and I'm so behind the times with no foxtel.

Definitely doesn't make it OK to see ~ our players have more integrity than that, it looked like some **** you see from Melbourne Victory. WSW are a better class of player.

You see on the replay as soon as the ball goes long from a Jets player the ref blows his whistle and raises his arm. Clear sign game is over. I'm guessing Covic and Taggart didn't realise the game is over and play on.

Yes Covic took him out. But cmon in a split second he makes the right call. Let Taggart go through and he scores most likely. So he know he has to take him out and gives the Jets at best a free kick from long range to get something. I'd say he made the right judgement call.

I'd rather Covic save us a point getting a red than letting that twerp run through and get 3 points for Jets.

So... does that count as our first goal scored from a corner?

yes it does Hahahahahah! Out of 30+ attempts

121 attempts.

I have to say no tho. Took 5 touches and then a rebound from attempted clearance. It's more of an own goal really.

Long may the streak continue.

If we ever score from a corner then, we have to celebrate it like we have won the World Cup lol

That goal coming from a corner is just fast becoming a fantasy now....

Yeah tend to agree... with the bonus of the streak continuing. Having said that it wasn't a bad corner as far as ours go.

Reading some comments on here really make me wonder, yes we conceded a late goal but that's football you know? Great performance from the boys tonight and was great watching from the stands.

After such a stellar first season, anything that is not positive but neither negative in our second season gets lambasted on here. Have we reached our peak form yet, no, is there plenty of room to improve, yes so lets not get too stressed out or lose our **** now people!!

Bolded, Italiced but most importantly, Fixed.

Covic is a passionate player who didn't want to concede the draw, happens all the time in World football. I've seen it a million times before and I'll see it a million times again.

I would be massively pissed if it happened to one of our strikers LOL. But that's football
