Yep, quality away trip this one. I was there in December and will be there again on Saturday :good:

There was probably around 4,000 there in December, I think could be more like 2,000 this time perhaps. But whatever the number we will make lots of noise :xbop::clapping:

although every game is a danger game, I can really see this one being tough, need to win and pray that Brisbane lose.

also need to focus on this game, don't want to make the mistake of focusing on next weeks game against the meow without getting through this one with the 3 points.

Players looked hungry again after last week..if we come out the way we did last week then I have no doubt we'll win.

Hopefully their new coach sticks to their direct route football...NTS will eat Heskey!

When you look at our squad, just about everyone has gotten decent game time and would feel relatively comfortable droping into the side.

Big tick for the way Popa has managed our squad.

Looks like Jerome is still not right physically which is of course a shame, but Cole will be good value & Alessi surely will be on the bench.

When you look at the squad and realise all have had exposure to quality game time and aside from Tyson shown decent form particularly in the game against Perth, well it's very promising.

Wonder if Zane will bite the bullet and tell Heskey to rest and find some form back on the training pitch.

Not sure how much we will see of Alessi and Fofanah because school went back this week, so they wouldn't have been training with the first team as much.

pfft, you don't learn much at school

In hindsight, school's workload is pissweak - nothing they can't do on the bus ride up.

Joel Griffiths has been cleared to play this weekend so we might see him get a run at some stage.

Taking two friends who haven't ever been to a regular season A-League match before, and one of which who has never been to an A-League match ever nor been to Newcastle.

Any sightseeing tips or places we should visit? This'll probably be on the Sunday... provided that we don't get bashed by sokkah thugs before, during or after the game.

Bar Beach and the beach areas around Shortland Esplanade are pretty to drive & walk around.

You can't go wrong with food on Darby Street - lots of nice cafes along there.

Climb the big dick (or its classier/ official name, Queens Wharf Tower).  Gorgeous views!!

Take a stroll along Honeysuckle Drive.
