This is an excellent opportunity to build a bit of momentum leading in to the Finals series.

We have slowly been improving in our play but need to take a step up now and clinically dispose of an opponent.

With Victory away to Roar tonight there is a chance to be back in second again and we need to throw our weight around with a convincing display.

While playing in the ACL can be tiring, it can also be a benefit to a team trying to build cohesion and restore confidence and credibility. This is our opportunity - and we must take it if we want that coveted second spot and a home Final against the best-placed 3-6 winner.

Newcastle, Brisbane and MV really stepped it up a level tonight, all were very good in their own way.

We MUST raise our game tomorrow if we are going to do anything with the remainder of the season. We need to put Perth away and we need to put them away well.

Dead rubber ;)

That's what you guys looked like after last year's semi. Hopefully we'll administer a repeat dose at some point in this season's finals.

What was it with the police presence in the RBB? I heard someone had their membership cancelled for celebrating too hard. Not sure why there is a need for so many riot squad guys. Did anyone make a compliant, was there any violence? Why the heavy handedness?
