Seriously can we have some luck for once? Just cant get a break at all lately.

Stupid from topor

Anyone feel our ball control needs to be looked at? Just can't hold the ball at all for once

why cant we just clear the ball first time confidently without having to hack at it...does anyone do tackling drills at training....rarely see our players win the ball in a clean tackle....watching our players trip over eachother here is concerning.

I am soooooooo pissed off. This is very poor play. Our touches again are horrible. I mean just have a look at how poorly we control the ball. It is no wonder that we are always under pressure. The other teams know that we can't hold on to the ball.

I love the club but changes in the first squad are a must. We need a midfield player that can control the ball, control the play, slow down the pace and calmly pass it around the field. This is something we do not have and haven't had since Ono.

Whilst I can see many of us are hoping for a miracle, I don't think it will come this time. There will be no miracle tonight.

Mooy and Ono. To think our Mooy replacement is LaRocca, and our Ono replacement is Bridge at this stage.

This te just needs to have a good look at themselves, acl can **** off right now, have some respect for the jersey and perform and leanr to pass and control a ball.

Hate to say it but the way the game is going i'm happy to be only down 1 at half time...

if and when we do get the ball fwd its imperative that we hold the farker up and not give it away straight away...

2nd half...nothing to lose all to gain..we revel in being written off and underestimated...COYW

Salary capped league with squad limits means we can't change much.

Fact is though, the recruiting has been terrible.

The players we've bought in just haven't delivered.

Compare our recruiting to melbourne, Sydney....even perth. They've left us for dead. And Gombau has built a wonderfull side.

Bridge has done nothing but give the ball away in dangerous positions tonight. Is he trying to get himself a transfer to Adelaide. Midfield is shocking, defence I'm not too concerned about. And our strike force is non existent. Something has to change.

My theory is that it's all to lure cruz azul into a false sense of security then bam, we'll beat them next week.

Luck?

Listen as good as Adelaide are (and they are very impressive) we are VERY VERY poor indeed.

What the **** was NTS thinking!!!! You could see as he was walking off he gave himself a little head shake, I don't think he could  believe he had those brain farts!!!!! Totally unprofessional from him.

Why the **** couldn't Ruka stay on side for that chance early in the first half! Was is La Rocca that did the pass, think it was, well that was school boy error stuff. They had every opportunity to play a ball in onside there FFS.

Just not good enough..... it really isn't. Fear we could he smashed in the second half here,

We have Cruz and Madrid on our minds! NTS wanted to make sure he is fresh for the big dance ;)

We'll still make the 6. Promise.

No offence mate, I couldn't give a *** about the 6, I just want to see us ***8ing playing as a ****ing team for ***** sake!

if anyone on here has played the game at a competitive level.....then ....being a man down after 17 mins away from home against one of the best passing and mobile teams in the league...then you will understand how tough this game is for our lads...physically and mentally. that saying we are not making it easy for ourselves either....

test of character for all peoples....lets stick by them..

Not much we can do with 10 v 11. Cant remember the last time Topor got two stupid yellows. We just have to take it, defend, hopefully we nick one from a break or a set piece. At least we knocked 6 past them in season 1. Our frustrating A-league season continues. Other than that ITS OUR GREATEST SEASON EVER. Just as long as they put a decent effort in week in week out, cant ask for more after what we have achieved. Something had to give. We were bound to dip in form at some point. Heads up lads.

o i am sticking by them and all that..... and yes down to 10 is always hard but it is still a crock of shite.

if we could control the ball better we wouldnt have 10 men on the field. both cards were due to poor touches, topor did what he could only do which was to professionally foul after being caught out.

Agree. There is no point in saving ourselves up for the WCC as far as I am concerned. I am not sure why it should even be of importance to us. We know we cannot compete with Euro or South Americans. I would rather we build for the A-League and solely concentrate on that.

PS. Asian Champions League was immensely important and should remain as such. This WCC is funk crap as far as I am concerned. The earlier it finishes the better.

Come on you Wanderers!!!

Pitch side commentator said that they're checking if NTS will be suspended for the CWC because of his red card today, using the fact that a red card in the league means you miss the FFA Cup as a precedent. Are they retarded?

They told us we couldn't compete with the Japanese. They told us we couldn't compete with the Chinese. They told us we couldn't compete with the Koreans.

Also, there's no point in trying to win a trophy that will label us "the greatest club in the world"?

This is FIFA were talking about here,

They're probably checking to see how many bags of cash they need

The only good thing happening during this game for me is: this girl I like and I are having a lovely Facebook conversation right now.

I think if I concentrate on that, rather than the game - I'll resist the urge to throw my laptop into the TV screen.
