Ffs so many games I need to schedule time in my calendar to dissect each loss on the forum!

You could just create a post game views template to insert int he thread, switch a few player names around and you will be good to go.

This is the game the kids should have played, we are extremely likely to get anything out of this regardless of who we send (we have one measly away point this season) so instead of one win and one (admittedly convincing) loss, we will probably have two losses with last place entrenched. I realise the schedule means squad management needs to happen, but in front of home fans in what would have been a very winnable game?

The alternative is play an already exhausted squad and heighten the risk of (more) injuries occurring.

I understand that, which is why Saturday's squad should have been sent to Brisbane, giving the others a break. My point is we picked the wrong game, we squandered a perfectly good chance to beat Newcastle.

So the squad that played in korea and landed the day before the game against Newcastle should have backed up again? The potential for injury would have been huge. The way our season has been going, I'd say we were just as likely to lose against the Jets with a full strength side anyway

I disagree with that final point. I am confident that we would have bearen them being at home. We certainly would have had a much better chance than we will on Wednesday.

The amount of games over the month period they play (I.e the likelihood of injuries being caused by over exertion) will end up being no different, but we will end up with zero points instead of three from the two matches. I don't expect them to play every match with the current schedule, but I found Saturday's selection baffling. We gave up on one of the few winnable games we had left.
