whats the go with the parking on wednesday night?

If arriving after say 6pm, your probably best to park in the Industrial / Commercial area on the western side of Leumeah station.

Its only a short 5/10 minute walk up & over the railway line to the stadium.

Just bought a ticket, pax at 4439

Pax has gone   or the 4850 quoted at 9.30pm last night, should have read 4350.

The PAX I quoted last night, I added the RBB tickets as well.

Gave in to the booking fee in order to avoid queues at the ticket box.

Got tickets 486 & 487 in "RBB"

I imagine this will be quite a decent turn out :)

If approx 4500 GA tickets have been sold, that would appear to indicate that the Western Stand & Terrace will be bordering on capacity.

When you add the RBB sales the game is approaching in 5,000 pre sales.

Having not been to a pre-season match before, what is different? I saw in the Sydney FC v rams game they had 11 starting players and 12 substitutes, so I imagine unlimited subs, but anything else?

It's basically a testing environment. Expect big changes in the second half (with substitutes) and players trialling out new positions/cover positions.

The purpose for Popa and the coaching staff is to gauge how well the team fits together, who may make the cut (triallists/youth team) and what positions players can play/cover.

The intensity may be stepped up this year as we are using this as warm up games for ACL (perhaps slightly less substitutions).

Cheers, just don't want to be too surprised if/when we do something wacky like play three keepers at the same time

Melbourne Victory made 10 changes at the mid point of the 2nd, 30 minute 3rd, of their match last night.

Basically clubs use these warm up matches to work on combinations & to allow all of the squad members to get some game time.

Will this game be showed on fox? A mate was telling me the sydney Olympic vs Perth friendly was pay per view? If this is the case bit of a rort

preseason games are never shown on fox. They are never broadcasted.

A WSW camera guy might be filming it and might release a highlights vid, and thats it.
