Yep was granted a couple of days leave, months ago.

FFA were requested not to schedule any games on the 28th, but as usual stuffed up.

Given we're playing in NZ, only the non selected players will be able to attend the ceremony / reception.

So can Juric and Spiranovic play?

Club indicated they would be available in an email today.

NTS is unavailable due to suspension & Mateo is getting married.

So he is missing the game??

Playing the long game.

Gotta get that green card, so he can become an Australian citizen.

Was also thinking, this might stuff up his best man or bridal party. If popa usually picks his squad a few days out before the game, how will he pick his squad for this one? Or put the other way round, who will be coming to the wedding if the players only know a week out from the match who is going to Wellington?

So frustrating.

Bloody FFA.

I'll never resist an opportunity to slag off the FFA, but when in our schedule could the game be played otherwise?

After the Nux we play New Year's Day, then one more game on the 6th before the Asian Cup break, then it's two games a week, almost every week, until the end of the season.

Not only did they schedule a game on 28th... They put it in Wellington. Surely taking the Piss!

Well for starters CCM should never have been given NYD - they should've had their usual NYE clash.

Plus rather than playing on the Sunday - surely this match could've been organised to be a Friday match or something?  Anyway, not sure what else there is to do in Wellington on Boxing Day.

Play it in the long Asian cup break.

club world cup, over.

having a look at the players instagram accounts, they've had a good break.

Time to earn their money and get some wins.  7 points from the next 3 games before the asian cup break

If we don't get at least 7 points, I worry whether we can make the six. It's already a big gap between 9-10 and we know games in hand don't equal guaranteed points. I too am concerned about Wellington. That aleague ins and outs are rubbish, we already know mateo is out, Romeo has a stomach injury so will be out for a few weeks and possibly one other for the wedding.

Don't see Castelen listed in the game squad or as "injured". I guess he was never here and it was all just a dream. Da faq?

Probably forgot about him even being here, don't be surprised though, the "ins out" thing the aleague puts out are pathetic!

So is Poljak seriously missing this game for his wedding??

Poor form mate, that's what the off-season is for

Was organised for this period to enable family to travel to OZ for the occasion.
