twitter is a cavalcade of bell-ends as far as a-league discussion goes.

every other fan base seems to have a couple of scouseroar wannabes who spend their time circulating anti-wsw and anti-rbb stuff.

it doesn't surprise me at all that these same low lifes are spending their  time scouring these forums desperately looking for anything they can take completely out of context to try to attack wsw fans.

It's so funny how much time just general non-WSW aleague fans spend talking about WSW, sad really

Twitter explodes over West13's post on here, they've made out that we are going to protest because the FFA failed to listen to WSW's request to not play on the 28th. Idiots :nono:

Huh??? My post? Lol... Which one?

I'm not on Twitter, post some links ;)

Don't worry, complete over exaggeration!

Twitter is complete cancer.

even auckland city has achieved more than them...once wellington gets its own rugby league team you won't even hear about the phoenix....6000 strong crowds? they belong in the local premier league.

Saba not playing vs Wellington... he just posted on social media.

Why isn't Popa letting him play?!

I don't think Popa will be impressed with him posting those things in social media.

I find this puzzling. He won't be playing at all during the Asian Cup so he would have three games, that's all then a big rest again. I honestly think he needs regular match play. He is a creative midfielder and it takes time to gel with the forwards but always being in and out (unless injured) makes that extremely hard. We may never see the best of him if he is constantly rotated & (worse) he may become disillusioned.

I have a feeling that Saba and Popa has clashed, and Saba won't be here next season.

I do not buy the excuse of Popa's rotation.. he could've been at least a sub at best against Wellington.

I believe there is more to the story.

Does not make sense of Popa to not regularly playing him.

So no Topor, Saba, Romeo or Poljak going up against an in form Wellington should be interesting.

Tipping 1-1

Or bridge and baccus!! Anyone going to the NYL game today to see who is playing from the senior squad and what youth players are missing?

Popa has a plan, might be used to play in the next two games which may make sense. Wellington will be making us move all over the park, I wouldn't be surprised if he goes for more mobile players willing to put in a defensive shift.

You could very well be correct. Although we don't really know do we? He could be on the bench. If he isn't and we are already without Poljak, Bridge & Baccus in midfield as it is this then certainly something is seriously amiss for him to be totally left out. We absolutely need 3 points here and the next two home games if we are to gain any momentum. Worrying signs.. !

Much the same way in which Megsy was frozen out of the side when no story came out which has left us to speculate that there must have been a bust up between the two. Though I don't think this is the same for Saba, he has played quite a few games for us and been involved quite a lot but just hasn't started so maybe we are way off the mark? I think it comes more down to his limited engine and the way he isn't a big fan of the defensive side of the game our n10 role plays in our side.

Everyone calm the **** down!

Plenty more time left in the season. Hit form at the right time.

The pre-season we never had is coming up in January, and after that we can return to our best.

I will take draws until then.

That will need us needing to win an unrealistic amount of games imo. There isn't just some magic switch we can hit halfway through the year, and to suggest so I believe is s massive discredit to other teams in the league. NYD is must win, as simple as that. We are real underdogs tomorrow though, I will take anything.

I disagree, it's not about other teams quality though. You can see all the pieces of the team are out on the board but Popa hasn't got the pieces fitting together right now. I feel that if players can get the goal scoring boots on, that it will be a matter of time before Castelen (now injured), Ruka and Saba will start scoring goals to add to those that Juric is putting away,

Am I missing some announcement? Golgol is paying $10 as first goal scorer tomorrow on Sportingbet!!!

Probably just to net free money from clueless punters.

I didn't think he'd be back so soon. Taurus said January, maybe with the injury troubles we are having it has forced popa's hand? Don't rule anything out when it comes to popa's team selections!

Popa may make a few surprising selections tomorrow but one thing is certain he will want to shut down their speed in transistion & creativity in midfield.

He'll probably select players such as Cole & Haliti, as he is aware of their work ethic.

Time for Tomi & Ruka to bury a few of the half chances we have been creating.
