12 away bays sold. Has esfc ever had that many?

ESFC would have more than half the stadium if we didnt have the demand for the tickets for derby games. bit different for this game as AFC probably knew we wouldn't sell out the ground so they let Evergrande have a larger allocation

If this article from last month in the China News is anything to go by, they may not be as strong as they were in the earlier rounds. They have bought Gilardino who has yet to settle in, but Diamanti may not be up to the standard of Dario Conca, and they've also lost Muriqui.

Let's not be too overawed - Victory did beat them.

I would take 0-0 right now in the first leg.

Then any kind of score draw would be enough in the second.

Don't concede that's the plan IMO. Guangzhou to return home with no away goal helps us big time :)

Frustrate them for long stretches, keep a clean sheet, hit them on the counter, and take a goal to China. It's not in our interest to go into a shooting gallery with them.

They seem to be an attack minded team from what highlights I've seen at the back they are quite unorganised so in my opinion we need to play our game solid defensively quick counters and hope saba can link up with the boys upfront and let's just pray they have their shooting boots on

This. Quick counter attacks are where we can hurt them. We have to be patient, and not just go out hard becuase we are the home team. Being defensively well organised is by far the most important thing tomorrow. If we aren't, we will get cut to pieces.
