A stat to make us feel confident for this game...

For the game played immediately after the Sydney Derby the Wanderers have been in prime form. Proof below:

Following our Derby 1 defeat in season 1 we travelled north to Brisbane, the defending champions, and recorded our first ever A-league goal and first ever win! Bridge the scorer that wonderful night.

After our epic Derby 2 win at Moore Park we returned the following week to Wanderland and gave poor Adelaide Utd a 6-1 thrashing! Bridge bagged a hat trick!

Following a disappointing Derby 3 draw the Wanderers headed to Newcastle with the knowledge that any win would secure the Premiers Plate. It was a dominant display, with WSW running out winners 3-0, with Bridge scoring a brace.

After a comfortable Derby 4 win in season 2, the Wanderers went to Wanderland the next week and put on a stirring come from behind win against Adelaide. Juric scored a brace.

A Derby 5 win at home saw WSW travel to Melbourne for a Tuesday night fixture. The WSW B-Team took the field and got done 3-1.

Following a disappointing Derby 6 defeat away, the Wanderers travelled to China and recorded their first ever ACL win against Guizhou Renhe 1-0. Bridge the scorer.

Well, we just suffered a 3-2 defeat to the Smurfs in Derby 7, but I am sure the Wanderers have been played into form and are keen to give Al Hilal hell.

My tip is Bridge to score a few :)

I think It's going to be a tough game for the both, WSW and ALHILAL butting their concentration on this game if we saw the last game for WSW and ALHILAL, Al Hilal last game lost the derby against Al Shabab 1-0, Al Hilal was playing with minimal effort , in spite of this, they were closer to victory but the visitors scored a goal in the 90th minute. WSW last game they lost the derby too, I saw that game there was a lot of defensive mistakes from WSW but that will not happen in the big final.

Al Hilal wants to rewrite his history, wants to reclaim his throne, after 12 years absence (2002-til now). Al Hilal won "6" asian titles, now Al Hilal want the 7. Al Hilal will do everything to win this title, Al Hilal will fight for his legacy.

WSW only 2 years was enough for them to reach the top of the continent, have highly ambitious and spirit never dies. The fans only know the color red and black , cheering for their team in winning and losing , because this is the definition of love ( Happy and sing when win ,support and cheer when loss).
