Cant get to this one but have forwarded two memberships to people that can go. Whilst the system appears to have worked, it was a bit of a kludge and it wasn't exactly clear how to do it.

Worked it out in the end but it wouldn't hurt for a simple help system to be placed on the transfer site.

Parramatta Eels are having their 2015 cheerleaders tryouts at the leagues club tomorrow night,

Keep an eye out ;)

Maybe we can get the RBB to be judges... hold us signs and such?

Gonna have to get there early though, they start at 6:30

Absolutely ridiculous sacking IMHO. Hopefully one of the other Queensland teams is about to apply for a license so he can go and build a team. Wanderers style.

Gotta beat this lot tomorrow night. I'll take a1-0 right now.

Another Wednesday, another game I can't make 😒

I'm gonna end up at more away games than home thanks to all our rescheduling. It sucks when you have to go and win the Asian Champions League and play at the Club World Cup

well its the roar so you know there good for at least 1 own goal.

i think it comes down to controlling the slippery fish. if spira can do a job on him like he did on saturday we should be OK.Different type of player admittedly but if the fish doesnt score then no one does

this could be our season 1 adelaide game, for this season, if you know what i mean

Got a feeling this will be our lowest crowd of the season , wed night 4th home game in 14 days , bottom of the table and bit of rain about . All those softies are going to miss a cracking game and our first win. Probably about 12.5k still be 4 or 5k more than the Thursday night game .

Gutted I am missing this, not around Sydney so can't make it.

I remember back in season 1 (December 2012) when we played Brisbane at home and we were just about bottom of the table and there was no more than 5,000 there that day. I think the official stat is around 6,500 but is seemed even smaller than that. Anyway we won that day and it kick started our season.

Lets hope we do the same tomorrow.

If I remember correctly wasn't there the most horrendous wind storm before the game and thus the attendance was affected in a big way?

Seriously? KGJ?

I know he lives in Sydney so they don't have to take another ref off work for the game, but surely there's some kind of integrity rule which means we can't just keep having the same ref.

There's 8 or 9 a-league panel refs. Share the love!

Wherever they can save the money on travel the FFA they will/

KGJ is a nsw based referee, so probably at least half of his games will be in nsw

plus it's midweek, so they don't want to be pulling other refs off from work.

Yes there was, a southerly buster went through before the game. I know this because my family were over from the UK and we were on the Manly ferry when it went through, my sister on the boat ->   :bad: lol Got the train with my old man from Circular Quay out to Parra for the game that day... happy times. :good:

We will score off a corner, must take our opportunities and if we do this could be

ugly for Brisbane.

Should be a good crowd size and I bet we will get more than the smurfs will when they play on Thursday night.

We need to win. I want to get stuck into that muthafarking carnt scouse roar on Twitter.

He might be found in the away bay :ninja:

If there was ever a game to shoot ***** it's this, their keeper is pretty ****.

Has had better performances in the last few games since his shockers early in the season

Shouldn't be doing this regardless of work or not... :ninja:

Reminds me of an old story back in the UK. When Dalglish had just been signed by Liverpool to replace Kevin Keegan, Bill Shankly apparently told him, “As it’s your first game play the first half and we’ll pull you off at half timeâ€. To which King Kenny replied quick as a flash, “Blimey, it’s good here, at Celtic we just got orangesâ€!

True. But he was still signed from a club in the English 6th division.

Game almost sold out, good work everyone.

nah just means most seats are spoken for.

15k turnout.

Yeh it depends on how many ticketed members turn up, we have 17,000 seated memberships but despite supporter members not been able to buy tickets (non seated memberships) we still struggle to pack out the stadium. Despite the option to forward your ticket on to another, many dont trust the system and we will have to wait till the next calendar year before the buy-back scheme is in place.

It's our last game till the NYD game next year, I just hope that we get as many members turning up for the match! Our last midweek game we got 14.5k and had attendances between 8-14k for the midweek ACL games. 15k is a subpar attendance especially with the members we have and the demand for tickets but it just appears that until perceptions change where fans don't want to go out on a school night, or worried about getting up for work the next day or members with families don't want to attend, we will continue to get these types of attendances.

I hope when the club said that the buyback system will come in next year, I just hope that there is an increase in attendances to 16-17k for our next lot of mid week games!

The buyback system will come in at about the same time the stadium is upgraded, sometime around 2068.

Just did a dummy bid, and 4 quite good tickets (Bay 27 in thye Eastern Stand came up stright away, in a row. I don't think it is too close to a sell out yet. Hoping for a good crowd but this game might sort out who the most committed attenders are (I also understand, being a Wednesday, many people have perfectly legitimate reasons for not being able to attend).
