So... we could get Subway at the stadium and pay 30% more... or we could head to the Subway on Church Street (it's right near the stadium anyway!!) before the match & save $$??

(which = more money for alcohol, or merch!)

meh I've said it before and i'll say it again, don't try impress me with the same food I walk past to get to the stadium.

Serve full strength beer and sell food you would only see at a football match, not the same garbage they dish up to Eels fans..

Apologies for derailing this thread.

Everything, bar the mysterious Wanderdog, is available at places outside of the stadium.

I do question how efficient Subway could possibly be though. Especially when it comes to heating chicken and toasting subs.

Food thread = better conversation than any Mariners's thread

The wait in Subway is when there are 2 people who order separately, but they both want their sub toasted.. but the 1st artist already initiated the toaster which leads to a bottleneck in orders wanting it toasted.

Hint: toast your sub with jalapeno's for a treat to please the finest filipino  #lifehax

Closed down brosefina.

Although having no subway at at all = 100% more alcohol money.

Edit - I might be thinking of Oporto.

Yeah - I'm pretty sure it was the Oporto.

DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT!!!  Haha.

Also... since when are you alcohol-ing again?  Is this a permanent thing?

the vegie option can be found behind the meat, let them eat coals

When you said behind the meat I thought you were going to say the grass :D

Toasted? No way... Fresh is best... toasted meh....

Love our home bread maker :good: Makes the whole house smell good and tastes even better, fresh as you can get  :good:

Looking forward to this season's first episode of 'Argue with the guy at the station about whether or not my membership card includes free travel before showing him the back and walking off like a boss'.

still surprises me how many people line up for rail tickets at parra post game.

1. Its included in your ticket/membership

2. why are you buying one home (not a return ticket to start with)

3. you're a westie, why are you buying a ticket at all

I was following your logic re saving money to buy alcohol (something I know is close to your heart).

I had a few drinks in Perth but it won't be a permanent thing.

I do miss oporto :(

Oh dear, ha ha....

Quote:

AFTER storming into the Mariners dressingroom and throwing his boots to the floor, Malick Mane told his Central Coast teammates exactly what he thought of them — “you’re s. tâ€.

Five days later the club has turned around and told the Senegalese striker exactly what they think of him, releasing him immediately for his blow-up following the side’s FFA Cup semi-final loss to Adelaide.

The Mariners on Monday night confirmed Mane was being released on compassionate grounds after failing to settle in Australia, being away from his family after his partner gave birth to their child back in Senegal.

Central coast coach Phil Moss signed Mane on loan from Swedish club IFK Goteborg at the start of the season and it is understood the 26-year-old will be on the first flight back to Scandinavia.

He has only made three appearances for the club and was left out of the squad that earned a 2-2 draw away to Melbourne City at the weekend.

While he didn’t set the A-League alight, and now won’t get the opportunity to, Mane did show glimpses of promise.

If I was the mariners I would say good riddance, piss off mate if that's your attitude

The queue for Subway is going to be a mile long.  5 people lining up at a normal subway is annoying because it's a decent wait.

Great farking business idea that was, people aren't lining up more than 10 minutes to wait for food
