Ok there must've been a reason for it. I hope it's not just another dodgy seccie guard story. Let's wait for the whole story, hope it's not too bad.

How is that between them Ruka and Kalmar don't have the ability to make a 5m pass?

I'm sorry mate I don't understand your post. Are you saying you were the one that was pepper sprayed in the face? And I suppose Ferguson is just a typo.

So a hail storm and a second string team (noting that there is another ACL game to go). Bloody happy that I decided to not drive north for this one.

Anyway, some may be happy to hear that this withering fan is now off! I was a member from season one and had some good times travelling up the coast and down to Melbourne, but I'm just not feeling it anymore. Truth be told if I were Sydbey based I'd still be there next year, but I'm not that keen on a number of 6 hour round trips on the chance that I'd be stuck watching the same dross on offer at present (the monotonous drone from the RBB isn't to my liking, either). So, from next season there'll be one more seat available in the Eastern Grandstand. Hopefully someone can make better use of it than I did this year.

Piss off Parra's

First post, after a long time lurking. Please go easy on me. Thought I'd get a post in before the end of the season.

Excellent name.

What on earth happened n the RBB..all I could see was pepper spray...not good...half time dramas...WTF...more police tan fans...gee I'm feeling safe

It may be about time the RBB swallowed their pride and asked the club for constant upgraded CCTV in the NT to stop a repeat of what is being claimed here. If they are serious then no cop would dare to stand out of line knowing they are being watched closely on CCTV.

For anyone to be against this idea I would ask you what have you got to hide. You can't have it both ways.

Do you think they will use that footage to incriminate their own???

At Parra Leagues watching the game now after walking out. Unfortunately I feel all I can do is tell everyone I know the truth when the inevitable pro-cops spin comes from the media.

Then say it, we will take your word.

I missed the game unfortunately and I would like to know what happened, as everyone would.

First off, is the kid ok?

Cops come in a while after the smokie. Then after a discussion, a guy turned his head away a bit. A cop shoved him, hard, In the back of the head unprovoked. Following this, people naturally became incensed. A cop pulled out the pepper spray. A 13 year old kid, still outside the ground being treated by ambos, copped a substantial amount of it (side note, I now know what it tastes like. Not good.) Disgraceful behaviour from the police. I was about 15-20 meyres away so I don't know what was said. That is my account of the events.

Read my post above.

The kid is still in a lot of pain (as of 10 mins ago). I'm not a doctor, so I have no idea how he will be long term.

I am not a fan of flares, smokies, etc, but nothing excuses the assault of children.

I got sprayed in the mouth. Still burning. Kids were thrown on concrete like rag dolls. Ferguson in the US is not a typo but a sign of what I saw tonight. The regular security was stunned at how we were treated. Dmxtaaa **** off. Sydney FC is looking for you.
