You've gotta feel for any random members of the public who'll need to travel to Adelaide this coming weekend haha

Hahah yeah I was thinking yesterday that there will be the odd poor ****er who purely coincidentally would have gone to book a flight around 8pm  and wondered wtf was going on.

i just bought ticket putting active code in and is 147 actually active though?

Looks like it is.

The active bays are now 147-149 and the "non-active" are 142-146

Just got 2x tix in 147.  Oddly during the purchase stage it was going to allocate us to 146 then upon purchase seemed to switch us to 147.

im in +2. Flying to melbourne on Sat then overnight coach to Adeliade. Flight was $75 and $60 for the coach. $200 back on Monday, not too bad.

best yet

Just wandering Jess... was that you walking around the field in the red blazer last night? If so... gotta say you look more beautiful in person than you do in the internet

Nah not me. I was representing in the Eastern Stand wearing my jersey. I think you might be confusing me for Jessica Csaszar who is the media intern for the team.

I'm not a bad sort though :P Several members of this forum should (hopefully) attest to that. Dmixtaaa, Manfred help me out dudes   :cheeky:

Can confirm - wasn't me either.

Booked! Have to be in Melbourne this weekend, but made sure only to book the SYD-MEL flight, and then before the game yesterday booked a flexible Jetstar flight ADE-SYD on Sunday night at 1910 (so we better bloody get a result in extra time, or I might be stranded!). Will be in Adelaide for a grand total of 8 hours!

Am in Bay 146, and couldn't be more pumped. None of my regular mates from Wanderland will be able to make it, but no matter - I'll have 10000 instafriends in red and black  :woah:  :yahoo:

I'm going to drive it again it will be my 2nd Adelaide away trip I witnessed the epic Michael Jackson chant hopefully this trip is as good as that 1 ! The drive is long 14 hours from casula , the road conditions are decent much better than the 2nd half of the motorway to Brisbane ! and it's quiet an empty road can easily sit on 115km most of the way there , about 4 hours out of Adelaide there is a lot of wildlife at night so try time it so u enter Adelaide in the day time ! With fuel so cheap driving is a great option I'm leaving Friday staying satdy Sunday night in Adelaide and will sticker bomb every signage between here and Adelaide ! Coyw

I'm following you on Twitter as of now in advance of these sticker bomb tweets. Hoping you've got Telstra, otherwise coverage might be an issue!

Plenty of photos from your journey, that goes for everyone I think........ really is going to be some weekend!

All WSW supporters should meet up in a central location the night before for chanting like fans that head to London for a final do in Traflagar Square  :D

ooh i'm on that plane too

Apparently the taxi from Adelaide Oval to the airport takes 20 minutes, and we need to be at the boarding gate 25 minutes before takeoff. So that means we'd probably have to leave around 6pm...

Hopefully the game is decided before then!

Maybe we should arrange a car/bus to be waiting nearby...

...and this is great news that there will be (likely plenty) of others on the plane on the way back. Could be a lot of red and black in the Coopers bar in the departures lounge if all goes well.

Is Uber a thing in Adelaide? Apparently there are taxi ranks on the west, north, and east sides of the Oval

How about the ones that may end up on the coach from Mel with all the grubs....its a long time in a coach.

When we played Brisbane in the last GF I tried to save money by flying to the Gold Coast on Tiger airways on the Sunday morning. Big mistake. Get on plane with 200 Wanderers fans only to be told that the tyre needs changing which then took close to three hours. Kick off in Brisbane was 4pm and we landed at the Gold Coast airport at 3pm and then did a mad car dash to Brissie and missed the first 25 minutes of the game. We were lucky to get there at all as they kept telling us that they may have to cancel the flight and Tiger only has one flight a day. The most stressful day ever.

This time booked to go up on Saturday with Virgin who at least own more than one plane if there is a problem

BEWARE THE CHEAP TIGER AIRLINES FARE OR PURCHASE AT YOU PERIL !!

This reminds me that I have  friends who drove back from Adelaide just 3 days ago. Stayed overnight in Hay, as I've heard some here talking about doing.  So I imagine this will be the route many Wanderers will take to Adelaide.

They didn't encounter much traffic, but said  they saw HUNDREDS of dead animals - mainly kangaroos - along the way...ALL the way along that drive.   :(

They travelled during the day - but this is likely to be what can happen during the night.

I've never been out West that far, so don't what it's like to drive with this potential hazard... but to those of you who are driving at night.... be aware of this and do take care!

:)  :)
