bring castelen on for gol gol, nichols for vidosic if we need more in attacking, also wouldn't mind seeing bacus get another run that kid has a lot of potential

my preferred line up, and yes im breaking up DNA, and i really think vidosic needs a run in his preferred position he has been playing well out of position imagine how good he will be as his preferred number 10

Nicholls to start at 10 with videodisc (that's what my wife calls him) on the wing. But imagine the impact if he was at 10

And they all need to stop hitting the bar or kicking it straight at the keeper.

Vidosic in the 10 spot is worth a go - it gives Nichols a mini-refresher to come off the boards, and puts Dario in the thick.

I don't know about Gol yet - but we're thin for wide right options, and Castelen is getting worked over by numbers - maybe good to have him running against tired legs.

I'm sure Pio will start this one, but it could be the last chance saloon for him. If he doesn't fire up, and the rumours about Santa are true, the temptation would have to be to find a real marksman in what's left of the window, and offload our mis-firing 9.

im not even kidding you as i was typing it up im thinking erebus is going to think im his creepy stalker throwing pirlo in my question purely for you and now taking the words right out of your mouth about vidosic, i assure you it is more a case of great minds think alike then me being some weird erebus and ATB groupy

How do the hell would you be able to get rid-off Pio mid-season with a good contract.

Who would take him given his current form?

And good luck trying to find someone decent to replace him with what like 10 days left in transfer market.

Probably the only hope would be those off-contract but they would need at least a 4-6 weeks to get fit.

So no chance anything will happen till end of season.

lol pio is being underrated to much granted he isnt in the best form but the hate is a bit over exaggerated. i wonder how people would feel if he was banging in goals but we were loosing games, he isnt doing the best but he is still giving alot more then people give him credit for if you dont believe me take a look at our top goal scorer

You catch glimpses of Pio, the other day he beat 4 defenders - it was almost laughable how he weaved through them.

He's paid to do that though, it shouldn't be a surprise.

I also think Reddy is somehow going to start, not sure why - if the anger from the loss is still around I think Redders is going to cop more than his share of the blame unfortunately.

This is a must win, we really risk falling into the middle pack if we fail to get the three points, plus 4 games without a win heading towards the business end is never a good thing.

Really though, if we are on our game, it shouldn't be a problem. Naturally, taking advantage of our chances will be again be the biggest question mark; it will determine whether we have a cruisy three goal win, or an incredibly frustrating draw.

Bring on Sea Bogans away!!!!!!

Going 3-0 win as well...we'll finally put some of these chances we're creating away, and hopefully if Adelaide do us a favour on Friday night, we'll go back to the top of the League!

:woah:  :woah:  :woah:  :woah:  :woah:

OUT! And this is a BIG out because this will be the first A League 'derby' game within NSW I will have ever missed, been to every ESFC, CCM and Jets game home and away since it all began! Can't believe I won't be there  I will be out of Sydney and it can't be helped this time.

Hope the lads take the derby frustration out on CCM and destroy them. Also hope Wendy has brushed up her basic numeracy skills and finds her way to the correct bay this time :P  ;)

It'll be interesting to see how our back 4 will be against Luis Garcia.

Hoping for a 2-1 win.

Really, they shouldn't struggle with a 37 year old who hasn't played competitively in more than a year.

It'll probably only be a 15/20 minute stint and we'll be 3-0 up by then and cruising !!

I thought Reddy would start after last weeks game for some reason and nothing to do with how Redders performed particularly.

Daryl Video-sick to score and Pio to start as he enters his last chance saloon phase.

Gol Gol to start with Romeo replacing him later. Romeo can't do two successive full games or something will twang.

We can't afford to miss our chances anymore it's too tight at the top and this is a must win game for us.

Garcia won't play many minutes and his overall impact will be even less. This aint the Indian Superannuation league.

Out... Mrs. Gazmon is now 37 weeks pregnant (38 on Monday), so no trip for me. But watching on tele and having a BBQ :)

Mrs GK21 is due for the day before the next Derby. Hoping the offspring doesn't arrive early so that I can attend.

Best of luck mate. :good:

Any of your missuses booked in at Blacktown? my wife's a midwife there.

Norwest Private for me.

All of a sudden this changed into a babies thread.

Nepean for us. I live in the middle of the 2, and Penrith was an easier drive.

Pio does a lot off the ball. He only can do so much when he isn't getting the service ie Castelen refusing to pass the ball either sooner, or at all.

I don't think Pio is the problem, its more how he is utilised in the system.

I hope for his and all our sakes, he starts (he has to) and bangs in a brace or more this weekend. Get the team back on track, confidence for himself and the team, and back to our winning ways.

He may be misfiring, but we aren't at the bottom end of the table. We are 2nd and only a point behind 1st. Still 12 games plus finals to play.

I'm surprised that Romeo hasn't been copping some heat similar to what Fred has been to be honest.
